“I’m feeling claustrophobic in all these frills,” is one of Miley Cyrus’ complaints about her alter-ego character, Hannah Montana. Cyrus goes as far as to say that she’ll “rejoice” when she finally gets to shed the character she’s played since she was 12 years old.

Currently filming the fourth and final season of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, the show that made her famous, Cyrus says playing the character makes her “grit” her teeth. A major problem for Cyrus is the branding of the character, which makes her feel as though she’s a “product” instead of a person.
