Guests visiting Pandora – The World of Avatar starting May 27 will be able to use the new Mobile Order food ordering service on the My Disney Experience app.
Satu’li Canteen on Pandora is the first restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that will utilize the new system and it will eventually be rolled out to Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Restaurantosaurus this summer.
Mobile Order allows guests to pre-order and pay for their food prior to arriving at a restaurant. Once guests arrive at the restaurant they tap the “I’m here” button in the app and the kitchen is notified to prepare their meals.
When the food is ready guests can pick up their meals at the designated Mobile Order window.
During the roll out period for Mobile Order the only form of payment will be a credit card. Also, guests with food allergies, dietary restrictions, and those who want to use discounts or the Disney Dining Plan must place their orders with a cashier at the restaurant.
