Annual Pass Monthly Payment Plan Introduced for Florida Residents

8 January 2011 2 Comments

Florida Resident Walt Disney World Passholders can now enjoy a perk that their California Resident Disneyland passholder counterparts have long enjoyed:  the option to utilize a monthly payment plan for annual passes.

Although the plan was introduced in August of 2010, there are some details that have just been clarified for current passholders.

Guests interested in purchasing an annual pass and utilizing the monthly payment plan should note that to use the plan, one day’s admission is paid upon purchase, while the balance of the pass is spread over twelve months with no finance charge.  However, there is a little perk that current passholders enjoy:  if a current passholder renews in the time period thirty days before or thirty days after the expiration date of their pass, they can finance the entire cost of the pass with no down payment.

The monthly payment option is not valid for the Premium Annual Pass, which is accepted at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

We have lots of guests that have been using this payment plan for the new Florida Resident tickets. The monthly payments are so nominal, you really don’t even notice it. For many guests, it makes Disney World vacations affordable. Great article!
