More Menu Items Announced for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

We have some more delicious news about the 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival – more menu items have been announced! Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have some gorgeous photos of the items, so be sure to check those out!

This year’s new Scotland Booth is going to be serving a Scottish Banfee Tart, which is a creamy tart made from banana, toffee, and Glenfiddish Whiskey Cream. Guests visiting the booth can also nosh on a Scotch Egg with mustard sauce while sipping a Loch Lemond Cocktail. The cocktail is made with Scotch, Drambui, and dry Vermouth. And, there’s also word that a vegetarian haggis might appear on the menu.

Returning to the festival this year after a one year hiatus is the Brazil Booth and guests will be able to enjoy Seared Scallop with Hearts of Palm and Tomato Stew in addition to a pork belly dish. Meanwhile over at the Canada Booth, guests can sample the mushroom filet with truffle butter sauce and the new Seared Trout with Frisee, Bacon, and Maple Minus 8 Vinaigrette.

There’s a new drink debuting at the Africa Booth called a Brown Elephant Cocktail which is a creamy drink made with Amarula cream liqueur, milk, and Coca-Cola! At the Australia Booth you won’t find any shrimp on the barbie, but you will find a new garlic shrimp dish.

Guests looking to satisfy that sweet tooth will find some new items at the Desserts and Champagne Booth, including Cherry Pistachio Mousse, Orange Cupcakes, and Hazelnut Cheesecake. Over at the Hops and Barley Booth in the American Pavilion you can sample a Craisin Bread Pudding with Grand Marnier Anglaise.

A popular dish is returning to the festival at the Singapore Booth – Seared Mahi Mahi with Jasmine Rice and “Singa” Sauce. If you like this dish, you’ll be able to find the recipe in the 2013 festival cookbook. And, the pork slider is returning to the Hawaii Booth along with a new drink, the Aulani Sunrise. Featuring the name of Disney’s DVC property in Oahu, this drink is made with ocean vodka from Maui.

And finally, a new bubbly drink is debuting at the France Booth – the Sparkling Pomegranate Cocktail featuring sparkling wine and pomegranate liquor.
