New Annie Leibovitz Disney Dream Portraits to Appear in Fall Magazine Issues

Once again, superstar photographer Annie Leibovitz has teamed with Disney to bring some of our favorite characters to life, as the 2012 Disney Dream Portraits set to debut in magazines this fall.

Fancy Russell Brand?  Be sure to catch his rendition of Captain Hook, poised to (hopefully) once again elude the hungry crocodile’s jaws in a photo captioned “Where every moment leaves you hungry for more.”  Brand seems to capture the essence of the foppish villain with a little terror owing to his predicament thrown in for good measure.

For the first time, Disney has also commissioned a shoot featuring characters actually created for the Haunted Mansion attraction.  The Three Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion ride appear in the second sneak peek pic available today.  Phineas, Ezra, and Gus are brought to life by Jack Black, Will Ferrell, and Jason Segel.  The eerie spirits are actually transparent and the photo is captioned “Where you can go on the ride of your afterlife.”

The photos are slated to appear in GQ, O – The Oprah Magazine, People, People En Español, Vanity Fair, Real Simple, Essence, and InStyle this fall.

Will you be picking up an issue of one of these magazines to see the photos?  Which is your favorite so far?
