New Art Exhibition Coming to Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion

am advEpcot’s American Adventure Pavilion is getting a new art exhibit this summer.

The exhibit will be located in the American Heritage Gallery and is called “Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art.”

According to Disney the exhibit “is made possible through the collaboration of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) in Washington, D.C.”

Artwork from these artists will be part of the display: fashion designer Loren Aragon (Acoma Pueblo), doll maker Glenda McKay (Ingalik-Athabascan), and Juanita Growing Thunder (Assiniboine Sioux) from the Growing Thunder family of Montana.

Guests can enjoy interactive elements in the exhibit.

An opening date for the new exhibit will be announced soon.
