New Cities Added to D23 ‘Fanniversary’ Tour For This Fall

This spring, D23 toured the country with their Fanniversary celebration, an event that celebrated anniversaries from all different parts of the Walt Disney Company. Following the success of the sold-out six city tour, D23 has now announced that four new cities will be added to the tour, with events taking place this fall.

The Fanniversary events are hosted by a Disney archivist and D23 team member, who give guests a behind-the-scenes look at Disney movies, characters, attractions, and theme parks through rare and never-before-seen interviews, photographs, concept art, and film footage.

Here are the added cities and dates:

1. PHILADELPHIA – September 14, 7 p.m., Penn Museum, Rainey Auditorium
2. SEATTLE – September 16, 7 p.m., Seattle Public Library, Microsoft Auditorium
3. ATLANTA – October 6, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., High Museum of Art
4. DALLAS – October 7, 7 p.m., Dallas Museum of Art, Horchow Auditorium

Tickets for the events will go on sale exclusively to D23 members on August 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM PST, and any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on August 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Event tickets will cost $18 for D23 members (and a guest), with general admission tickets on sale for $25. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the official event page here.
