New Culinary Demos, Menu Items, and More for the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

food and wineThe 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival will kick off September 14 and run for a record 62 days through November 14, and we have some exciting news about what guests can expect at this year’s event.

Three marketplace booths are returning for sure – Greece, Farm Fresh, and Desserts & Champagne.

Guests can enjoy hard soda floats at the Desserts & Champagne booth, while a new vegan dish is coming to Greece, and Farm Fresh is gearing up to showcase Florida’s bounty once again with some savory dishes.

The marketplace booths will once again spill into Future World. And guests will have a chance to learn culinary techniques from celebrity chefs including Cat Cora, Masaharu Morimoto, Buddy Valastro, and Jamie Deen.

The new “Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!” workshops will give guests a hands-on approach to learning culinary skills from chefs, bakers, mixologists, and more.

If you like music with your food, Wang Chung kicks off this year’s Eat to the Beat concerts on September 14. Other acts for this year include Toad The Wet Sprocket, Boyz II Men, and Jeffrey Osborne.

The Festival Center will be home to the Back to the Basics weekend series and The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to Bar.

This year the Party for the Sense has been updated, and the Rockin’ Burger Block Party returns for a second year. Guests can also enjoy resort premium events including a Grand Floridian brunch and a new cooking school experience.
