New Frozen Beer Arrives in Epcot’s Japan Pavilion

23 October 2012 No Comment

Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have shared news about a new “frozen” beer that has arrived at Epcot’s Japan Pavilion.

While the beer isn’t technically frozen, the head on the glass is aerated and chilled – it’s essentially frozen beer foam. The beer itself remains liquid at all times, but the chilled head works as a protective layer to keep the beer colder for longer.

Eventually, the frozen head will melt down into regular liquid beer but according to the Disney Food Blog review, it takes about 10 to 20 minutes for that to happen.

At this point, this new novelty beer costs $8 a glass and is available at Epcot’s Kabuki Cafe, Tokyo Dining and Garden House.
