New Nighttime Show, Happily Ever After, to Replace Wishes at the Magic Kingdom

"Happily Ever After" Fireworks and Projection Spectacular Debuts May 12 at Magic Kingdom ParkA new nighttime show is coming to the Magic Kingdom in May and will replace the fan-favorite fireworks show Wishes.

The new show, Happily Ever After, will feature fireworks, lasers, lights, and projections – more than any other Disney show has used.

The 18-minute show features scenes from Disney films including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Moana, Zootopia, Brave, and many more.

Cinderella Castle is also a star in the show as projections bring the stories to life. Guests will see Quasimodo swing from the turrets, Woody and friends recreate the castle out of toys, and Maleficent surrounds the castle with green flames.

The story of the show includes dreams, Disney Villains, heroes, fireworks, and even Tinker Bell! Tink will once again fly over the crowds, just as she does in Wishes.

The show’s score was recorded by a 75-piece orchestra and includes music from Disney movies including Beauty and the Beast, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more.

Happily Ever After will be shown nightly. It begins May 12.
