New ‘Star Wars’-Inspired Offerings Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

rogue one2In celebration of the upcoming release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting ready to offer some unique experiences for guests.

The AWR Troopers from the film will soon make their way to the Studios. They’ll be part of a new scene in the Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away daytime show at the theme park.

Guests visiting Star Wars Launch Bay will have a chance to check out props from Rogue One including a Shoretrooper Blaster, Director Krennic’s Imperial Shuttle, a Death Star model, and much more. Guests can also check out “making-of” footage in the behind-the-scenes film in the Launch Bay Theater.

The nighttime show Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is returning to the Studios on December 16. It will be the second nightly fireworks special – along with Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! – through December 31.

Guests riding Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will have a chance to experience new scenes on the attraction, including randomized beginnings and final destinations.

In 2017 the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party returns to the Studios. At the party guests can enjoy Star Wars-themed cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and savory snacks. The party can be booked online.

And finally, guests at the Studios will soon have a chance to experience an all-new Star Wars Guided Tour. The seven-hour tour includes Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, a chance to participate in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple (ages 4-12), a guided tour of the Star Wars Launch Bay, and dinner at a quick service restaurant features Star Wars-themed food. The tour also includes the dessert party, fireworks, and more.
