New Tenants Coming to Disney Springs Including Nationally-Known Retailers

disney springsAs the transformation of Downtown Disney to Disney Springs continues Disney has recently announced a slate of high-profile tenants for the Town Center area.

A total of 13 new tenants were announced, including eight retail stores including Zara, Lilly Pulitzer, PANDORA, and Tommy Bahama.

“Over the past few months we have opened several new dining and retail locations, which have quickly become the top producers in their chains,” said George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort. “This type of momentum builds on the historical strength of the Downtown Disney area and its popularity with our guests from around the world as it evolves into Disney Springs.”

The new tenants also include UNIQLO, UGG, and Edward Beiner. New restaurants include Edison, Sprinkles (a cupcake bakery), Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, and Tea Traders Café by Joffrey’s.

These new dining establishments will join the already-opened BOATHOUSE and the soon-to-be-opened Morimoto Asia and Jock Lindsey’s among others.

When Disney Springs is completed in 2016 the area will include 350,000 square feet of leasable space and will feature a mix of retailers and dining establishments.
