Obsidian Entertainment to Pitch ‘Star Wars’ Game to Disney

Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, plan to pitch a new Star Wars game to Disney.

Studio Head Feargus Urquhart previously pitched the game to LucasArts, although it never game to be. Game details are remaining tightly under wraps at this point, but Urquhart did say the title takes place between Episode 3 and Episode 4. He also said:

We haven’t [talked with Disney yet.] We’re kind of waiting for the smoke to clear. But that’s one of my next big things to do. To kind of go over there and [get the ball rolling again].

Disney has acquired LucasArts as part of the $4 billion deal, made last year, for Lucasfilm. It remains to be seen whether Disney will go for a Star Wars game, but we’ll let you know more when further information becomes available.
