Raglan Road Hosting 3rd Annual ‘Great Irish Hooley’ During Labor Day Weekend 2014

raglan roadRaglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is hosting the third annual Great Irish Hooley on August 29 through September 1 in Downtown Disney.

A ‘hooley’ is Irish slang for a party or celebration and this event features Irish food, live music, dance workshops, and interactive fun for the whole family.

The Labor Day weekend festival gives guests a chance to celebrate at Orlando’s only boutique Irish festival complete with authentic Irish food and drinks.

The entertainment lineup for this year includes Scythian, Drops of Green, The Raglan Rebels, The Brayzen Heads, and The West Coast Trio.

Guests at the Hooley can participate in Irish dance workshops led by Ronan McCormack who was part of the original cast of Riverdance. And, the Raglan Road Dancers will be performing Ceili, a precursor to line dancing.

Performances during the Hooley weekend begin at 4 p.m. on August 29 and noon on August 30 through September 1, continuing throughout each day and night.
