Santa Claus Arrives at Walt Disney World

Santa Claus has officially arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you’ll be able to catch him at several locations throughout the area. Santa’s Chalet, which opened November 18 at Downtown Disney, will operate from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through the Thanksgiving holiday. Starting November 25, his hours will be extended from noon to 10 p.m. all the way until Christmas. Santa Goofy will then take over from December 25 until January 1, greeting guests from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Beginning November 25, you’ll also be able to catch Santa’s daily appearances at The American Adventure at Epcot until December 24. Additionally, each country located in the World Showcase will have their own version of “Santa,” telling stories and describing holiday traditions in their part of the world.

If you’re enjoying the Magic Kingdom, stop by to see Santa Claus during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, as well as appearances in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. As of this writing, available party dates include November 27, 29, 30 and December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9,11,13,14, and 16.

Finally, Santa will be appearing in most hotel lobbies between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and will be on the porch of Crockett’s Tavern at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Lodge.
