Swan and Dolphin Resort Hosting the Fourth Annual Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic

Food and wine lovers rejoice – the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic returns for its fourth year this weekend.

The two-day event features food and wine tasting booths and coincides with the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. In addition to sampling great food and wine, guests also have a chance to take part in food and beverage seminars.

The culinary team at the Swan and Dolphin will be preparing a variety of dishes from sweet to savory from restaurants including Kimonos, Shula’s, Todd English’s bluezoo, Il Mulino, Garden Grove, Picabu, The Fountain, Cabana Bar and Beach Club, and Fresh Mediterranean Market. Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have posted the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic menus. Check them out!

Seminars for this year’s event include a new Italian wine class where guest can learn the history of Italian wine and a new pasta-making seminar hosted by hotel executive chef Robert Ciborowski. Returning seminars include modern mixology, sake, beer, wine-blending, champagne, and Riesling and Spanish wines. The seminars are led by the hotel’s certified culinary and beverage experts.

The seminars take place at 4:30 p.m. during the event, and the food booths are open from 5:30 until 9 p.m. both nights.

The Food and Wine Classic also gives guests a chance to enjoy live entertainment and this year guests can also meet celebrity chef Todd English, whose AAA-four diamond restaurant Todd English’s bluezoo is one of the signature restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin. Other chefs including Laurent Branlard, the hotel’s executive pastry chef will be on-site during the event.
