Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom is Once Again Transformed to the Jingle Cruise for the Holidays

It’s the holiday season at the Magic Kingdom and the Jungle Cruise is once again being transformed for the holidays.
The Jingle Cruise is back for this year’s holiday season!
As with last year’s Jingle Cruise this year’s cruise has been decorated by the Skippers who are homesick for the holidays. They’ve added holiday decorations to the queue, boathouse, and the boats.
The boats have also been renamed for the holidays with festive names and the Skippers will be telling seasonal jokes.

New Orange Bird Merchandise Coming to the Disney Parks this Fall

The Orange Bird came back to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom back in 2012 and in the last year a line of merchandise inspired by the little guy arrived at the Disney Parks.
The merchandise line is getting some new additions later this fall with new home décor items.
The new home décor items include an Orange Bird coffee mug, salt and pepper shakers, a small dish, and kitchen towels.
All of the new items will match the already-available juice glasses and pitcher and bowl.

The Week in Disney News – Star Wars Land Coming to Disney World and Disneyland, Jungle Cruise Restaurant Announced, and More

What a week for Disney fans! As I type, the D23 Expo is still happening so there’s sure to be more exciting news to report. But let’s talk about what we know so far!
First – and perhaps most importantly – Disney officially announced that a Star Wars-themed land is coming to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland! The lands will be 14 acres each and will feature two new attractions (including a chance to be at the controls of the Millennium Falcon!) along with a Star Wars Cantina and more!

Jungle Cruise-themed Restaurant Coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom

There has been some exciting news coming out of this weekend’s D23 Expo including the official announcement that the Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen is coming to the Magic Kingdom.
In recent months we’ve heard rumors about a Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant coming to the former Adventureland Veranda, and now it’s official.

New Merchandise Arriving at Disney Parks this Summer

Summer might be winding down but there are still a few more weeks to enjoy a summer trip to Walt Disney World Resort and the parks are debuting some new merchandise.
The Disney character hand sanitizers that arrived early in the summer are now available in many locations at the Walt Disney World Resort (and Disneyland!).

New Jungle Cruise-Themed Restaurant May Be Coming to Magic Kingdom

There’s been some news swirling about lately regarding the possibility of a new restaurant coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom.
If the current rumors are true, that restaurant could be a Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant located in area that used to be home to the Adventureland Veranda Restaurant sponsored by Kikkoman.
In recent year the Veranda has been home to different character meet-and-greets including Tinker Bell and Friends, Lilo & Stitch, and was even a Captain Jack meet-and-greet several years ago.

Disney Centerpiece Announced as One of the Stores for the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney

Last fall Disney announced a new retail location at Downtown Disney Marketplace called the Marketplace Co-Op that would be showcasing new and innovative Disney retail concepts.
When it opens, the Marketplace Co-Op will be the home of six retail locations including: Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Lane, D-Tech on Demand, The Trophy Room, Centerpiece, and Zoey and Pickles.
Disney Centerpiece – a home goods shop – will be selling home products that are inspired by Disney attractions and attraction posters.

Time to brush up on your pirate skills! A new interactive game is headed to the Magic Kingdom this spring where park guests will have a chance to be a pirate recruit for Captain Jack Sparrow
A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas takes guests on a pirate-themed quest to save Adventureland, while trying to find the Treasures of the Seven Seas and fight off pirate enemies.

A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas Coming to Magic Kingdom

A new interactive quest will be coming to Magic Kingdom park this year!
The new experience, A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas, will debut at Adventureland. Guests will be given a map and a magical pirate talisman that will enable them to complete several pirate raids throughout the park. Throughout the interactive experience, guests will be looking for Treasures of the Seven Seas while fighting off pirate enemies – including Captain Barbossa and The Royal Navy.

The Orange Bird Returns to Walt Disney World’s Adventureland

Last week marked an exciting milestone for fans of Walt Disney World’s past, as a former park character made his triumphant return to the Magic Kingdom. At an official D23 event, Disney announced the return of the Orange Bird to the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland.
