Disney Announces Dining Discounts for Annual Passholders in Celebration of the Magic Kingdom’s 45th Anniversary

The Magic Kingdom celebrated its 45th anniversary over the weekend and it looks like Disney is going to keep the celebration going for Annual Passholders.
From October 1 through September 30, 2017, Annual Passholders can receive 20 percent off food and non-alcoholic beverages at 45 different theme park and resort restaurants.

Passholder Exclusive Keepsake Glasses Returning to Epcot Food and Wine Festival

If you’re an Annual Passholder who is headed to this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival, listen up!
Once again this year, Annual Passholders can receive a “passholder exclusive” keepsake glass from the Festival. Last year Passholders received a commemorative port wine glass, and this year’s glass is a an etched tumbler.
To receive the keepsake glass, Passholders must attend the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival three times between September 14 and November 14, using a MagicBand or AP card to validate visits.

The Week in Disney News: Main Street Electric Parade Leaving, Elena of Avalor Debuts, and More!

Happy Sunday and welcome to our weekly recap of the biggest Disney news!
This week ended with the sad news that the iconic and very popular Main Street Electric Parade is leaving the Magic Kingdom on October 9. The parade is going to Disneyland for a limited time encore. There is no word yet on what, if anything, will replace the MSEP.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders Offered a Discount on Park Hopper Tickets

Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders can get a discount on park tickets from now until September 30.
In an e-newsletter sent to Passholders, Disney is offering a 1-day Park Hopper ticket for $79.
These tickets normally cost between $155 and $160 for adults and $149-154 for kids ages 3-9.
Passholders can bring up to six guests but Passholders must be present with a valid pass to purchase the tickets. These discount tickets must also be used on the same day they are purchased. Tickets must be purchased at a theme park ticket …

Disney After Hours Price Reduced for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members

Disney has reduced the price for the Disney After Hours for guests who are Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.
The regular price for this event at the Magic Kingdom is $149 but Disney has announced that the price is cut to $75 for Annual Passholders and DVC members for the remaining nights of the event.
Five nights remain for the event – April 28, and May 5, 8, 12, and 19. There is no word yet on whether Disney will extend the event on additional dates.

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort Update Prices for Annual Passes

Annual Passholders and both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will see a change in prices and benefits after Disney updated the plans over the weekend.
At the Walt Disney World Resort the new Annual Pass tickets include new prices and new benefits such as complimentary parking.
Non-Florida residents can now purchase two different types of Annual Passes – the Platinum Plus Pass and the Platinum Pass. Florida residents can choose from the Silver, Weekday Select, Gold, and Epcot After 4 Pass, while Disney Vacation Club members can choose from Platinum …

If you use Tables in Wonderland while dining at Walt Disney World, listen up – there are some changes being made to the program for 2014.
According to our friends at the Disney Food Blog, at least one popular restaurant will stop offering the Tables in Wonderland discounts while others will have more blackout dates when guests use the card.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland Raising Theme Park Ticket Prices June 2

If you’re headed to Walt Disney World or Disneyland and haven’t purchased your tickets yet, be prepared to pay a bit more. Effective Sunday, June 2 ticket prices at all theme parks on both coasts are increasing.
At Walt Disney World, the price for a one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom will cost $5 more than a one-day ticket to Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom will cost $95 for guests ages 10 and older and $89 for guests ages 3-9. If …

Disneyland Resort Offering Souvenir Glasses for Passholders

The Disneyland Resort is awarding Annual Passholders with the opportunity to purchase special limited edition souvenir glasses when they spend $40 or more on merchandise in the parks.
Each glass features a popular character, with a new glass being released each month. At the end of the month, the glasses are retired and a new glass is revealed. Epcot Segway Tour Coming in September

A new tour will be coming to Epcot next month, and it promises to be an exciting experience for those who want to explore the origins of Walt Disney’s vision of a better tomorrow.
