If you have ever visited Downtown Disney you know how difficult it can be to cross Buena Vista Drive – but now there’s a new pedestrian bridge to ease your travels.
The new pedestrian walkway towers over Buena Vista Drive and is located near Team Disney and will give guests easier and safer access to the still-being-renovated Downtown Disney.
The bride was developed by Reedy Creek Improvement District, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Disney Springs Project team and is expected to be opened later this spring.

The first new parking garage in Downtown Disney is scheduled to open on November 20.
The parking structure is part of the Disney Springs construction project and will eventually mean an additional 4,000 parking spots for the shopping and entertainment complex.
As Disney continues with the reimagining of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs, the construction project also includes a pedestrian bridge, an extended I-4 exit ramp that leads directly into one of the parking garages, and the widening of Buena Vista Drive.
