Disney Junior Announces ‘Give a Book, Get a Book’ Initiative

Disney Junior recently announced its new Give a Book, Get a Book program during a celebrity book reading at the Disneyland Hotel.
The new program was announced by Nancy Kanter, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Disney Junior Worldwide. She was joined by Dr. Martha Bernadett, First Book Board Member.

With the D23 Expo only a few short weeks away, even more announcements for this exciting event are beginning to emerge. Today brought the announcement of what Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD will be showcasing at the Expo. Disney Announces Storytelling Event at D23 Expo, Will Include Special Announcement

More exciting news is still coming out about the upcoming D23 Expo, which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center from August 19-21, 2011. Disney has recently announced that there will be a special “storytelling event” on Friday, August 19 featuring authors Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, as well as Jake and the Neverland Pirates star David Arquette. As part of the event, there will be a special announcement, announcing something that will “open a new chapter” in Disney’s strong level of commitment to corporate citizenship.
