Día de los Muertos Returns to the Disneyland Resort this Fall

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort this fall can once again experience the spirit of Día de los Muertos.
At Disney California Adventure the animated film Coco is at the heart of the Plaza de la Familia, a family-friendly experience in Paradise Gardens. Guests can share memories at the at the interactive Memory Wall, take a photo at the Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location, and more.
Paradise Garden Grill will be serving up delicious Mexican food and a Mariachi band will be playing.

New Seasonal Experience Celebrating Dia de los Muertos Coming to Disney California Adventure

Disney California Adventure is set to celebrate Dia de los Muertos with a new seasonal experience coming to the park this fall.
The new seasonal experience starts September 15 and runs through November 2.
The Día de los Muertos celebration will feature entertainment with musicians and dancers, interactive activities including Mexican folk art, along with special decorations and food.
The new Disney/Pixar film Coco will be one of the themes of the festival with special experiences inspired by the film.

Disneyland Resort Offering Dia de los Muertos Treats

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort can celebrate Halloween and Dia de los Muertos with special sweet treats.
The Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) treats recently debuted and include apples, cake pops, and Krispie treats that have all been decorated to look like colorful candy skulls. The treats are decorated with caramel, white chocolate, sugar, candy pieces, and even marshmallow flowers.
The cake pops are available in chocolate or red velvet cake and the candy apples are made with tart Granny Smith apples.

Disneyland Celebrating Dia de Los Muertos Through October 31

Once again, Disneyland will commemorate Mexican heritage with its celebration of Dia de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. The holiday, which pays special tribute to those who have passed on, will be observed at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Frontierland through October 31.
