Check Out the New Play Disney Parks App Coming this Summer

The new Play Disney Parks app is coming this summer and Disney is giving guests a sneak preview of the app.
The app is currently available for pre-order at the App Store and Google Play.
According to Disney, the app “will allow guests to play with family and friends while waiting in line for some favorite attractions.” The app includes activities that interact with certain queues and games.

Disney Junior Launches ‘Doc McStuffins: Time For Your Check Up!’ App for Android Devices

The Doc McStuffins: Time For Your Check Up! app has just been released for Android devices in Google Play and for Kindle tablets in the Amazon Appstore.
This app is one of Disney Junior’s most successful iOS apps and was recently named the 11th most popular iPad app of 2013 by Apple.
It is an activity-based app the allows players to join Doc, Hallies, Lambie, and the other friends as they fix, sort, and care for toys and dolls.

‘Summertime is Storytime Campaign’ Brings Storytelling to Kids’ Fingertips

Summertime means school is out and kids just want to play outside, but parents know how important it is to keep their kids reading and engaged with learning.
To help with that sometimes challenging endeavor, Disney Publishing Worldwide has launched a nationwide reading campaign that brings storytelling to kids’ fingertips. Disney/ABC Launch ‘Super Speedway’ App

Disney/ABC Television Group are launching a new app: Disney Super Speedway.
The app, available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, is a new racing game where players can race animated characters from popular Disney shows like Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls and Fish Hooks, among others.
Players can choose from three starting characters and earn credits that allow them to unlock additional characters as the game progresses. Disney/ABC’s Digital Media Team have launched a new app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch based on the Disney Channel series Fish Hooks.
The new game features Milo the fish and his buddies from Freshwater High. During the game, players take on the role of Milo and must beat the crab – Randy Pincherson’s – elaborate obstacle course. Disney announced the launch of their new Sprint Android-powered smartphone app Disney Junior ID today, which can help keep young children entertained with a variety of Disney Junior content accessible with the push of a button.
Kids ages 2 to 7 will enjoy the Disney Junior ID pack which will automatically download apps, widgets and wallpapers from popular Disney Junior shows and other related content. The pack includes:

‘My Disney Experience’ App Now Available for Download

Disney’s new My Disney Experience app is now available for download. This new app promises features and technology previously unavailable on any Disney park touring app. Coupled with the new wi-fi availability at the Magic Kingdom, this is another step in the NextGen direction for Disney.

Disney to Launch New NextGen Apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android

Disney will be launching a new NextGen application to be used by visitors to Walt Disney World Resort. The app will be called My Disney Experience and will be available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android systems.
The app is expected to replace the current Disney Parks mobile application Mobile Magic in early 2013. Disney to Launch Phineas and Ferb Mobile Game

Capitalizing on their success with the mobile game Where’s My Water, Disney will be launching a Phineas and Ferb-themed version of the app titled Where’s My Perry.
From what we know of the game at this point, the new version will star Perry the Platypus. Your job is to help Perry guide flowing pipes of water to enable him to escape from his predicament. The new version will also feature special power ups called “Crazy-inators” which can transform the water into steam, ice, or back to a liquid again.
