Ticket Prices and More Announced for D23 Expo 2019

The D23 Expo 2019 is scheduled for August 23-25, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center and today we have details on the ticket prices and more.
The 2019 Expo is the sixth biennial event that celebrates everything Disney from the theme parks to movies and beyond.
Tickets for the D23 Expo 2019 go on sale August 23 and discounted single-day and multi-day tickets for D23 Expo 2019 will be available exclusively to D23 Gold Members.

Adventures by Disney Launches New Southern California Short Escape

Adventures by Disney has launched a new Disneyland/Southern California Short Escape vacation.
This all-new vacation includes private tours of The Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Imagineering, and more.
Guests will also get a VIP tour at Disneyland, an exclusive visit to Walt’s Disneyland apartment, and a look at costumes and more at the Disney Archives.
This vacation can be booked as a stand-alone vacation or in conjunction with a Disney Cruise Line sailing from San Diego.
The vacation can be booked for dates in the spring and fall of this year.

Walt Disney’s Office Restored as Permanent Exhibit Space on the Walt Disney Studios’ Lot

Walt Disney’s office suite at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank has been restored as a permanent exhibit space.
The restoration recreates Walt’s formal and working offices and includes original furniture, collections of his miniatures, awards, and even his piano. The office – 3H – was restored by the Walt Disney Archives staff and will be used as an “immersive exhibit experience” for employees and studio guests.

‘Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives’ Presented by D23 Extends Run in Chicago through January 2015

If you haven’t had a chance to make it to Chicago to see the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives presented by D23, you’re in luck.
The exhibit has been extended through January 4, 2015 at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago (MSI).
Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives features more than 300 artifacts from nearly 90 years of Disney history, including props, costumes, memorabilia, and artwork. The items are from Disney animated films, theme park attractions, television shows, and live-action Disney films.

85 Year Old Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Cartoon Unearthed from Disney Archives

While Mickey Mouse’s debut performance in Steamboat Willie is known the world over, before he ever appeared in the short, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit had his own cartoon short – Harem Scarem.
