Día de los Muertos Returns to the Disneyland Resort this Fall

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort this fall can once again experience the spirit of Día de los Muertos.
At Disney California Adventure the animated film Coco is at the heart of the Plaza de la Familia, a family-friendly experience in Paradise Gardens. Guests can share memories at the at the interactive Memory Wall, take a photo at the Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo location, and more.
Paradise Garden Grill will be serving up delicious Mexican food and a Mariachi band will be playing.

New Halloween Food Merchandise Coming to the Disney Parks this Fall

There’s a new slate of spooky and creepy Halloween-themed merchandise coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World this fall.
Guests will find a new Happy Halloween 2018 Base Popcorn Bucket featuring Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween best along with Chip and Dale as cute little bats. This bucket will be available at Disneyland and the theme parks at Walt Disney World.

Disney Junior’s Vampirina Coming to Disneyland and Disney World This Fall

Disney Junior star Vampirina is coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World this fall just in time for Halloween!
At Disneyland guests can meet Vampirina at Disney California Adventure starting September 7.
She’ll also be part of the Frightfully Fun Parade at Mickey’s Halloween Party in Disneyland Park on select nights from September 19 through October 31.
At Disney World, Vee will be meeting guests during the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She’ll also be meeting guests in the Animation Courtyard.

Disneyland’s Holiday Season Starts November 9

The holiday season kicks off November 9 at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure!
This year’s festivities including the Festival of Holidays from November 9 through January 6, and more special events.
The Festival of Holidays includes food booths with holiday eats, the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party, and more.
Cars Land will be decked out for the season again, and over at Disneyland guests can enjoy holiday overlays at it’s a small world and Haunted Mansion.

Enjoy a Live Stream of ‘Paint the Night’ Parade on July 25

If you can’t make it to Disneyland this summer, you can still check out the Paint the Night Parade thanks to a live stream of the parade on July 25.
The Disney Parks Blog is hosting a live stream of the parade starting at 8:50 p.m. PT.
The Paint the Night Parade features more than 1 million lights plus music and “cutting edge special effects.”
A new float featuring The Incredibles was added to the parade for the Pixar Fest which is happening through September 3.

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectinery Now Open on Pixar Pier

Guests visiting Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure have a new spot to satisfy their sweet tooth! Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery is now open!
The new confectionery is inspired by Bing Bong, the fluffy pink imaginary friend from Inside Out.
Inside the store guests will find a sweets case full of Caramel Apples, Cake Pops, Mickey Krispy Treats, Marshmallow Wands, and more.
Other sweets include candies, salt water taffy, bagged candies, and other goodies.
If you’re looking for a sweet drink check out the Memory Refreshers being served up by Jangles the Clown.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind to Open in 2019 at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure

Pixar Pier is officially open at Disney California Adventure, but we have to wait until next year for one of the new attractions.
The Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is slated to open in the Inside Out Headquarters neighborhood in 2019.
The new family-friendly attraction will be joined in Pixar Pier by Jessie’s Critter Carousel.
Pixar Pier is made up of four neighborhoods – Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade, and Inside Out Headquarters – and they’re all open and ready for guests!

Details Announced for Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure

Pixar Pier opens this weekend at Disney California Adventure but one location – Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff – isn’t opening until later this summer.
This fun sweet shop will be home to a lot of colorful and whimsical sweets and we have a sneak peek look at what you can expect.
The confectionery will feature “Buddy” Cake Pops in Pixar pairs like Buzz and Woody and Nemo and Dory; specialty caramel apples like the Rainbow Unicorn Apple and the Bing Bong Apple; and candy including Lollipops, Lemon Drops, Red Licorice, Sour Apple …

New ‘Incredibles’ Float Joining Paint the Night Parade at Pixar Fest

A new float featuring the Incredibles is joining the Paint the Night Parade for Pixar Fest.
The float will be added to the parade starting June 23 and features the Parr family and their friend Frozone.
The new float connects the stories from Incredibles and Incredibles 2, “portraying the scene that shows the Parr family banding together against the supervillain known as “The Underminer.”
On the float Violet is surrounded by a force field, and “Dash’s super-human speed is captured through an innovative system of 64 individually lit frames,” according to Disney.

Mobile Order Now Available at Disneyland Resort

Mobile Order has officially started at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
Guests can now use Mobile Order at select restaurants at both theme parks. Just like the Disney World version, guests can use the service to pre-order and pre-pay for their food, avoiding a wait in line.
Disneyland locations with Mobile Order are: Bengal Barbecue, Galactic Grill, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, and Red Rose Taverne.
And at Disney California Adventure guests can use Mobile Order at: Award Wieners, Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Cocina Cucamonga Mexican …
