Disneyland Plans to Kick Off the Diamond Celebration with a 24-Hour Party in May

The Walt Disney World Resort is kicking off summer with a 24-hour party on May 22, and Disneyland Resort is following suit with its own 24-hour event the same day.
Disneyland’s 24-hour event kicks off the start of the resort’s Diamond Celebration. The party starts at 6 a.m. on May 22 and ends at 6 a.m. on May 23.
This West Coast party includes dancing, character meet-and-greets in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and more.

Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary Celebration to Include Special Popcorn Buckets and Mugs

Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration starts May 22 and in addition to the special artwork for the anniversary, guests can also find commemorative popcorn buckets and hot beverage mugs.
The 60th anniversary popcorn buckets at Disneyland park will feature the Fab 5 playing the piano in front of the Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. The Disneyland souvenir mug features Mickey and his friends watching a fireworks display in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Disney Egg-stravaganza Returns to Walt Disney World and Disneyland

The Disney Egg-stravaganza is returning to Epcot, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure from March 27 until April 5.
Guests will once again be able to search for hidden eggs themed to Disney characters using special maps and stickers that can be purchased for $4.95 at the participating theme parks.

Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure Park is once again celebrating the Lunar New Year.
The celebration kicks off February 19 and runs through the 22 as the park celebrates the Year of the Sheep in the Paradise Gardens area.
The Lunar New Year celebration is an annual tradition that is observed by Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese cultures as a time to reflect on the past and step into a new year of hope, happiness, and prosperity.

Disneyland Resort Announces February 2015 Merchandise Events

February might be the shortest month of the year, but Disneyland Resort has a month full of magical merchandise events planned for guests.
The month starts off with a visit from Precious Moments doll maker Linda Rick who will be at the China Closet in Disneyland Park from February 6-8. Guests and meet Linda from noon until 10 p.m. each day as she celebrates the launch of her Valentine’s Day collection.

California Health Officials Asking Non-Vaccinated Guests to Avoid Disneyland Resort

If you haven’t been vaccinated against the measles, California state health officials are asking you to avoid visiting the Disneyland Resort for a while.
According to authorities, at least 59 people in California have been diagnosed with the measles since December. Forty-two of those cases have been linked to an exposure at Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park.
The confirmed measles cases include five Disneyland Resort cast members according to a statement released by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

Disneyland Resort Announces Special Ticket Offer for Southern California Residents

Disneyland Resort has announced a special ticket offer for Southern California residents that includes options for two or three days at the parks.
The new ticket offer was available starting January 7 – the same day Frozen Fun premiered at Disney California Adventure Park and the new Frozen show debuted at Fantasy Faire in Disneyland Park.
Guests who visit Disney California Adventure Park for the Frozen Fun event will also have a chance to meet Anna and Elsa at their all-new meet-and-greet location.

Oregon and Florida State Players Visit Disneyland Resort Ahead of Rose Bowl

Players from the University of Oregon Ducks and the Florida State University Seminoles made a stop at Disneyland Resort ahead of the 101st Rose Bowl Game.
The first official pre-game appearance for both teams happened December 27 at Disney California Adventure Park.
Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich and Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher were joined by members of their teams during a ceremony with Mickey Mouse and Disneyland Resort President Michael Colglazier.
