The Festival of Holdiays Starts this Week at Disney California Adventure

The Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays kicks off this Friday, November 10.
This holiday festival includes a Festive Foods Marketplace with cultural holiday foods at more than a dozen marketplace booths.

Other holiday fun at the Disneyland Resort includes the transformation of Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl in Cars Land. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will become Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration to Feature New Nighttime Shows  and a Glistening Sleeping Beauty Castle

Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with a Diamond Celebration that includes three new nighttime shows and more.
The Diamond Celebration starts May 22 and both Sleeping Beauty and Carthay Circle Theater will be adorned with diamond medallions. The Disneyland Resort and the streets surrounding the resort will be decorated with Diamond Celebration décor and banners in Disneyland blue.

New Merchandise Inspired by ‘The Twilight Zone’ Tower of Terror to Debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Another popular Walt Disney World attraction is getting its own merchandise line.
The Hollywood Tower Hotel Authentic collection is inspired by The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and it’s arriving in Disney Parks on Friday, February 13.
This new collection took a page from the design book of the Haunted Mansion Authentic line and features vintage ads. The logo for the Hollywood Tower Hotel is also featured on some of the items.

Three Kings Day Celebration Begins Today at Disneyland Resort

Today marks the beginning of the Three Kings Day celebration at the Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland.
The celebration gives guests a chance to experience Disney ¡Viva Navidad! – the popular holiday event that features a colorful street party, authentic music, and traditional Mexican foods.
New for this year’s celebration is “The Spirit of Navidad” which is a storytelling performance by two bilingual musical artists. Guests will learn about the Latino traditions celebrated during Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Dia de Los Reyes (Three Kings Day).

Celebrate the End of Summer with Limited Time Magic Events at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

‘Goofy’s Sky School’ Opening Date Postponed

Originally,  Goofy’s Sky School, one of the new attractions set to open at Disney California Adventure Park, was slated to open June 3. Now, sources say the attraction’s opening date has been postponed until July 1.
Since October, crews have been working to transform the previous site of Mulholland Madness into the new ride, but John McClintock, a Disney Resort spokesman, said that “Goofy needs a little more flight training.” As of this writing, another new attraction – The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure will still open June 3.
