Disney Channel to Bring Back Game Show ‘Win, Lose, or Draw’

Disney Channel will soon see the game show genre return to its lineup, as it was announced this week that the channel will debut a revised version of popular 1980’s game show Win, Lose, or Draw. Hosted by Cupcake Wars‘ Justin Willman, the new show will begin production in July and make its television debut later this year.

Disney Channel Renews ‘Austin & Ally’ and ‘Jessie’ for Third Seasons

Fans of the hit Disney Channel shows Austin & Ally and Jessie received some good news last week, as Disney announced that both shows have been officially renewed for a third season.
Both Jessie and Austin & Ally debuted in 2011, and have since gone on to become some of television’s most popular shows among kids and tweens, with Austin & Ally currently ranked as TV’s #1 show with Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, and Tweens 9-14. ‘Boy Meets World’ Sequel Series May Come to Disney Channel

Many children who grew up in the 1990’s will fondly remember Boy Meets World, the hit sitcom that ran from 1993-2000 and became one of the most beloved and enduring shows for children of that era (including this writer). Disney Channel Star Bridgit Mendler Teams with Target  to Kick Off Back-to-School Campaign

Disney Channel star Bridgit Mendler has teamed up with Target for their 2012 back-to-school campaign called Give With Target.
Target will be donating $5 million to schools and students across the country to help acquire school supplies and other school related items in the form of 100 $25,000 grants to needy schools, which will be announced sometime in August. Additionally, four schools will be selected to receive a special celebration in their honor.

Disney Channel to Premiere Hidden Camera Reality Series

Disney Channel has just announced a new hidden camera reality series that will be debuting later this month.
Dubbed Code 9, the comedy show will be hosted by Wes Dening and feature kids pulling pranks on their parents. The kids will be paired with one parent to help create, plan and pull off the entire prank. Plus, in each episode a family member will go undercover with the help of special makeup and costumes and pretend to be one of the actors in order to pull off the prank.

‘A.N.T. Farm’ Returning for Second Season

Disney Channel’s hit comedy A.N.T. Farm will be returning for a second season, sources say. The show focuses on a group of kids who attend a “gifted” school in San Francisco.
