Disney Consumer Products recently launched a new product line inspired by the upcoming Disney Channel animated series Elena of Avalor.
The new series debuts on Disney Channel on July 22 and tells the story of Elena, a new princess in the kingdom of Avalor – a fairytale land inspired by Latin and Hispanic cultures and folklore.
The new Elena of Avalor products are currently available at the Disney Store, and additional products will be available at mass retailers starting in July. Licensees include Hasbro, Jakks, Amscan, Studio Fun, and Children’s Apparel Network.

Finding Dory, the highly anticipated sequel to Finding Nemo, is set to swim into theaters this summer and Disney Consumer Products has recently announced the product lineup for the film.
The global product line for the film was created by Bandai.

Disney Consumer Products recently announced the launch of a new line of Star Wars branded fruits and vegetables to celebrate the addition of Lucasfilm to The Walt Disney Company’s Healthy Living Commitment.
The new products include Star Wars-themed bagged apples by Sage, citrus fruit from Dayka Hackett, carrots from Kern Ridge, and grapes with Yoda-themed packaging by Four Star.
Samples of the new products were unveiled at the PMA Fresh Summit Convention and Expo in Atlanta. All of the fruits and vegetables meet the nutritional guidelines put in place by Disney.

Disney Publishing Worldwide has announced the launch of a new multiplatform property called ‘Star Darlings.’
This property features 12 unique girls who encourage tweens to celebrate individuality, make positive choices, and show they can make any wish a reality.
The North American launch includes two novels and other Star Darlings content will include a storytelling and lifestyle app, music from Walt Disney Records, an animated series of shorts on YouTube, and a fashion dolls line created with JAKKS Pacific that will be sold at Justice stores.

Marvel is expanding its brand and branching out into sporting goods and accessories.
This new venture comes after the brand was featured in a custom edition insert ‘The Body Issue: Super Heroes Edition’ that was included in the most recent issue of ESPN The Magazine. Marvel also had a presence at the X Games 2015 where Next X Park was renamed Marvel Next X Park.

The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will be combining two of its divisions – Disney Consumer Products and Disney Interactive.
The new segment will be called Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) and will be led by Leslie Ferraro, Co-Chair Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media President for DCP, and Jimmy Pitaro, Co-Chair Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media President for Disney Interactive.
