Special Merchandise Coming to Disney Parks Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of ‘The Rocketeer’

The Rocketeer is celebrating its 25th anniversary on June 21 this year and to commemorate the event, the Disney Parks have created a new slate of merchandise.
A new collection of T-shirts is arriving at the Disney Park online store from May 6-12.
Two of the shirts feature Mickey and Minnie in outfits inspired by the film. Another shirt inspired by the film will be part of the Twenty Eight & Main collection.
Other Rocketeer-inspired items include a set of Vinymation Movieland series figures with a 3-inch Rocketeer designed by Disney Design Group …

New Limited Release T-Shirts Arriving at Disney Parks Online Store this Month

The Disney Parks online store is featuring more limited release T-shirts this month. Each week a new T-shirt is available to order.
This week, August 7-13, fans can get a pixelated Mickey and Minnie Mouse T-shirt that was designed by Disney Design Group artist Maria Clapsis. These shirts also feature a small pixelated Epcot logo on the back.
From August 10-16 fans can order new Haunted Mansion themed shirts featuring artwork from Disney Design Group artist Richard Terpstra.

Limited Release Tees Coming to Disney Parks Online Store this Month

If you’re looking to add some Disney magic to your summer T-shirt collection you’ll want to check out the Disney Parks online store this month.
Several limited-release tees will be available to order through July 5 – but you better act fast because only certain shirts are available on certain days.
From now through June 23 you can order a Jungle Cruise-themed tee inspired by Disneyland’s attraction. This tee is the first in a series honoring the 60th anniversary of Disneyland.

‘Tomorrowland’ T-Shirt Available at Disney Parks Online Store Until May 28

You have just a couple more days to visit the Disney Parks online store and order the limited-edition Tomorrowland T-shirt.
This new T-shirt was created by Disney Design Group Artist Richard Terpstra in honor of the new Disney film Tomorrowland which opened in theaters on May 22.
The film stars George Clooney as a scientist and former boy-genius Frank Walker. Tomorrowland was written by LOST writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird based on a story by Lindelof and Jeff Jensen. Brad Bird (The Incredibles) also directed the film.

Final Limited Time Magic Surprise Features Merchandise with New 2014 Disney Parks Artwork

This week’s Limited Time Magic surprise is the final one of the year and it features the debut of some the new Disney Parks artwork for next year.
The artwork – selected by fans – is debuting on 2014 dated items including T-shirts, D-Tech phone cases, coffee mugs, and a watch.

Disney Parks Debut New Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke Bag

Everyone’s favorite spooky attraction is getting its very own Dooney & Bourke handbag. The Haunted Mansion-inspired bag debuts at Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort on Friday, September 13.
The bag was designed by Disney Design Group artist Mark Seppala and it features a grey and black color palette with a pattern that is reminiscent of the wallpaper in the halls of the Haunted Mansion. The inside of the purse bright red, and the bag also features a special hangtag with the attraction’s logo.

New Shoe Ornaments Showcase Style and Disney Character

If you love shoes and Disney, listen up! A new collection of Disney character-inspired shoe ornaments is debuting soon at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The ornaments were created by Disney Design Group artists Cody Reynolds and Costa Alavezos and include embellishments like jewels and glitter. The shoes were inspired by Disney Princesses and other characters such as Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Mary Poppins, the evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Cruella DeVille.

Disney Releases 2013 Poster Series

Disney wants fans to celebrate the New Year in style with the new 2013 Poster Series, which also includes a brand-new Disney Pin and a Vinylmation figure.
The poster series features 13 oversized prints that make up a 13-month calendar, which several Disney Design Group artists contributed to. One artist, Dave Keefer, will be on hand at D Street at the Downtown Disney Marketplace on January 4 for a special appearance and signing. This special event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Mickey Mouse-Inspired Celtic Jewelry Heading to U.K. Pavilion at Epcot

Sources say that three new Celtic jewelry items will be coming to the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot next month, inspired by none other than Mickey Mouse himself.
Sylvie Brumbaugh, product developer for World Showcase, said:
For the past few years, the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot has offered a selection of sterling silver jewelry by Kit Heath. This is the first time that we are introducing necklaces and earrings that have a Celtic design inspired by Mickey Mouse.
