Mobile Order Coming to Satu’li Canteen and Other Animal Kingdom Restaurants

Guests visiting Pandora – The World of Avatar starting May 27 will be able to use the new Mobile Order food ordering service on the My Disney Experience app.
Satu’li Canteen on Pandora is the first restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that will utilize the new system and it will eventually be rolled out to Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Restaurantosaurus this summer.
Mobile Order allows guests to pre-order and pay for their food prior to arriving at a restaurant. Once guests arrive at the restaurant they tap the “I’m here” button …

New Dining Options at Caribbean Beach Resort Amid Construction Project

The lengthy construction and renovation project at Disney’s Caribbean Resort has officially started and this means guests at the resort have several new dining options.
The renovation project led to the closure of the Old Port Royale Food Court, Shutters, and the Calypso Trading Post. The Banana Cabana Pool Bar will also be closing.
Current dining options at the resort include a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet in an air conditioned tent area, the Superstar Catering Food Truck, and three “island markets” located in three villages at the resort.

Free Dining Announced for Walt Disney World Resort

Today’s THE day! Free Dining has been announced for dates in August, September, November, and December this year!
The free dining offer gives guests at most Walt Disney World Resort a FREE Disney Dining Plan with a minimum 3-night stay at at WDW hotel and a minimum 2-day Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus ticket.
Guests staying at Deluxe Villas or Deluxe Resorts will receive the standard Disney Dining Plan for free (and can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan by paying the difference per night).

Disney Gives Preview of Menu at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – The World of Avatar

Pandora – The World of Avatar opens May 27 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and we’re getting a preview of what’s on the menu at the new Satu’li Canteen.
This new “fast casual” restaurant’s backstory is that it was once the main mess hall for the Resources Development Administration (RDA) Base. It’s now owned and operated by the Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE) tour company.

Disney ‘Dine on the Go’ Coming to Magic Kingdom for Limited Time

For a limited time beginning January 12, guests at the Magic Kingdom can purchase a Disney Dine-On-The-Go one-day quick service Disney Dining Plan.
This new one-day quick service Dining Plan gives guests one quick service meal before 4 p.m. and one quick service meal after 4 p.m.
The cost is $29 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-9.
The quick service meals include an entree and a beverage, dessert is not included.
This is a limited time offer good from January 12 through February 22.

The Week in Disney News: Frozen Ever After Opens, Dining Plan Changes, and More

Happy last week of June! What a week it’s been!
After a couple of years of anticipation Frozen Ever After finally opened on June 21 in Epcot’s Norway pavilion, and on day one the queue was 300 minutes long (that’s 5 hours!). Guests were treated to free Mickey Ice Cream treats and water, and the ride itself is also getting rave reviews.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has announced a new nighttime premium experience – Savor the Savanna Evening Safari Experience. It features a VIP nighttime safari visit and African-inspired tapas.

Changes Coming to the 2017 Disney Dining Plans

Guests using the Disney Dining Plan in 2017 will notice some changes, specifically when it comes to desserts and snacks credits.
The Quick Service Dining Plan in 2017 will include the following for each guest 3 and older per night of your stay: two quick service meals (one entrée and one beverage), two snacks, and one refillable mug.

Echo Lake Eats Opens for the Summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to three new, temporary food kiosks – Echo Lake Eats.
These counter service options opened last week at the theme park to provide guests with some additional food options during the busy summer months.
The construction at the park has resulted in the closure of the Studio Catering Co., and Toy Story Pizza Planet.
Echo Lake Eats is made up of three kiosks: Hollywood Waffles of Fame, Sliders to the Stars, and Bocados del Lago Nachos y Empanadas.

Free Dining Announced for Travel Dates this Fall at Walt Disney World

It’s that time of year again – free dining has been announced for select travel dates this fall at the Walt Disney World Resort!
The dates for free dining are: August 23-October 1; November 15-21; November 26-28; and December 10-21.
Guests must book a minimum 3-night stay and can’t book longer than a 14-night stay. All free dining packages must be booked by July 8.
Several resorts are excluded from the offer including campsites, the bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village, Bay Lake Tower, 3-bedroom villas, Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Little Mermaid …
