Disney Cruise Line Announces Sailings for Fall 2018

Disney Cruise Line has announced its fall 2018 sailings and new ports of call have been added including Bermuda and Quebec City, Canada.
New itineraries have also been added for sailings from New York City to Walt Disney World (Port Canaveral) and Castaway Cay.
Sailings will also depart from California, Texas, and Florida for the fall of 2018.
The Disney Magic will sail from New York City to Bermuda on two five-night sailings that include two full days in Bermuda, and one six-night sailing that includes three days on the island. These sailings …

Disney Cruise Line Announces 2018 Sailing Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has announced its 2018 sailing itineraries and several ports of call are a first for the ships.
The Disney Magic will visit Milan, Italy for the first time in addition to stops in Genoa, and Portofino. In June 2018 ports of call include Barcelona and Rome.
Disney Cruise Line is featuring its first British Isle cruise with stops in Dublin and Cork, Ireland; Greenock, Scotland; and Liverpool, England. The Disney Magic’s other stops during the summer of 2018 include the Baltic, the Norwegian fjords, and the Mediterranean.

Registration Opens February 14 for 2018 Walt Disney World Marathon

Registration for the 2018 Walt Disney World Marathon – the 25th anniversary of the race weekend – opens February 14 at at 12 p.m. ET.
The 2018 Marathon Weekend takes place January 3-7, 2018 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Races for the weekend include: the 25th Anniversary Marathon, the Walt Disney World Half Marathon, Walt Disney World 10K, Walt Disney World 5K, 5th Anniversary Dopey Challenge, Goofy’s Race and a Half, and the runDisney Kids Races.

New ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Live Show Coming to the Disney Dream

A brand new live musical production of Beauty and the Beast will set sail on the Disney Dream starting in November.
This live show will feature a “style of theater that interlaces classic storytelling elements with cutting-edge technology” according to a press release from Disney. Guests will see the show in the 1,340 seat Walt Disney Theater.
The show will feature music, lavish costumes, and puppetry. Elements from the live-action film and the animated classic will be woven into this all-new live show.

Disney Cruise Line Announces 2018 Ports and Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has announced its itineraries for 2018 and the home ports for the DCL ships.
Ships will visit the Bahamas and the Caribbean, in addition to Baja and the Mexican Riviera.
The Disney Wonder will sail from San Juan, Puerto Rico on three, seven-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean with stops in Bonaire, Curacao, Aruba, St. Lucia, Martinique, Antigua, and St. Kitts. This is the first time a DCL ship has sailed to Bonaire.
The Disney Wonder sails this itinerary on January 14, 21, and 28, 2018.

Celebrate the Holidays at Sea with Disney Cruise Line

This fall and winter you can celebrate the holidays – Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas – on board select Disney Cruise Line ships.
Halloween on the High Seas takes place on most sailings on the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic in September and October.

Disney Castaway Cay Challenge Part of Cruise Following 2017 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

runDisney has announced the third consecutive Disney Castaway Cay Challenge that will take place January 9-12 on the Disney Dream cruise.
The cruise sets sail the Monday after the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and will sail to Nassau and Castaway Cay in the Bahamas.
While at Castaway Cay participants will run a 5K race and will receive a finisher medal in addition to an event T-shirt, a commemorative Castaway Cay Challenge finisher medal for participating in one Marathon Weekend race and the 5K on the island, and more.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Itineraries for Summer 2017

Disney Cruise Line has announced its sailing itineraries for the summer of 2017 and it includes first-time visits to destinations in Alaska and Europe.
In 2017 Disney Cruise Line will takes guests to Alaska’s Icy Strait Point and Hubbard Glacier for the first time ever.
The new nine-night itinerary on the Disney Wonder sails from Vancouver on July 24, 2017. The ship sails to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Tracy Arm Fjord. A highlight of this sailing is the visit to Hubbard Glacier, the largest and most active tidewater glacier in North America.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Two New Ships

The Disney Cruise Line fleet is growing.
Disney announced today that two new ships will be added to the DCL fleet in 2021 and 2023. A memorandum of agreement has been made with Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany.
Design plans and ship names and sailing itineraries are still in development but Disney Imagineering is already working on idea for the new ships.
The new ship will be about 135,000 gross tons each – making them a bit bigger than the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. Each ship will have close to 1,250 …
