Disney’s Tinker Bell Film to Screen at El Capitan

Disney’s newest Tinker Bell film Secret of the Wings will be screening at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre from August 31 to September 7.
In the film, Tinker Bell and her friends – including newcomer Periwinkle – venture into the Winter Woods, where Tink discovers an incredibly life-changing secret. ABC & Marvel Considering ‘Avengers’-Themed T.V. Series

The Avengers was a huge blockbuster hit in theaters, raking in millions of dollars and taking the world by storm. Now, ABC and Marvel are reportedly looking to cash in on the film’s success with an Avengers-themed T.V. series.
According to Deadline.com, Marvel’s television division and ABC Studios are currently discussing plans to create a weekly drama set in the Avengers world. However, the connection to the Avengers is expected to be very light and may not include any of the characters that appeared in the film.

We’ve just heard that Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph will be appearing as a playable racer in the upcoming video game Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Three Character Posters Released for Disney’s ‘Frankenweenie’

There has been a lot of new information coming down the pipeline for Disney’s and Tim Burton’s upcoming flick Frankenweenie, and now three new character posters have been released to further hype the film.

Disney Makes Pitch Deal for ‘Stuff of Legend’

Sources have announced that Disney has made a pitch deal for Stuff of Legend, a graphic novel written by Mike Raicht & Brian Smith.

Disney Hires Dave Green to Direct Untitled Wolf Adventure Film

With the $200 million loss from John Carter and the move to put the live-action Snow White remake Order of the Seven on the back burner, Disney seems to be moving away from big-budget films in favor of their lower-budget counterparts.
Along that line, Disney has tapped Dave Green, a prolific director of music videos and commercials, to helm an as-yet-untitled “wolf adventure” film for the company.

Disney Scraps Live-Action ‘Snow White’

Disney has decided to scrap their live-action, kung-fu samurai take on the classic Snow White, which was to be named The Order of the Seven.
Despite the fact Disney has been working on this project for 10 years, it’s no surprise that they decided to scrap the film given Universal’s live-action remake Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror, Mirror which hits theaters June 1.

Legendary special effects makeup artist Rick Baker announced that he’s already hard at work designing Angelia Jolie’s look for Disney’s upcoming film Maleficent.
Said Baker:
They’re just starting that now. I designed the makeup for Angelina Jolie. At this point, I’m actually finished with that part of it.
While there are no confirmed details about how Maleficent will look translated to live-action, Angelina Jolie did confirm in a past interview that the iconic horns would remain.
Maleficent will be in theaters March 14, 2014.
