While Disney is focusing on male lead Flynn Rider in promotional material in preparation for the Nov. 24 theatrical release, Tangled is still very much about Rapunzel, and Disney is taking full advantage of marketing the girl with the long golden locks in other respects.

The announcement was just made that Elizabeth Banks will be starring as Tinker Bell in a new Disney live-action romantic comedy about the mischievous fairy, well known to all as the reluctant pixie-duster in the story of Peter Pan and Captain Hook.
According to Variety, the film has a lot of cooks in the kitchen.
