Main Street Electrical Parade Versus SpectroMagic: Which Do You Prefer?

The sentence was vague and fleeting, like the glow from a light that shines for a moment, and then vanishes. That it lacked an attribution as to source made it even more indefinite. It was exactly what it purported to be, a rumor, yet even the mere possibility sent my heart racing.
It was buried in the December 21, 2011 “WDW News and Rumors” rundown from a popular Disney community website and it read:
“There’s a possibility that SpectroMagic could return in October 2012.”
Craving something more definitive, I searched for corroboration. If …

New Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! Parade to Undergo Changes

Disney’s Hollywood Studios new parade, “Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun!” will be undergoing changes in the next few weeks in response to guests’ complaints.
The new parade, which was rolled out just over two weeks ago, replaced the popular “Block Party Bash.”  Both performances featured heavy doses of Pixar characters, but the latest iteration was updated to include characters from more recent films, like “Up!” and “Ratatouille.”
Still, guests seem to be dissatisfied, which is somewhat puzzling, since many of the changes to the parade were, per Disney, in direct response to …

‘Block Party Bash’ Bids Farewell to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The New Year’s Day crowds were massive, as the Block Party Bash made its final run through the streets of Disney’s Hollywood Studios yesterday.
The interactive, 35-minute parade features lots of familiar faces from Disney Pixar films, like Toy Story and The Incredibles.  It opened in the park in the spring of 2008 after a successful three-year run at Disney’s California Adventure.  Always a particularly high-energy affair, apparently, today’s performance was no exception, as performers seemed to take it to the next level.
Fans of the parade got into the act as well, holding up signs bidding …
