Main Street Electrical Parade Versus SpectroMagic: Which Do You Prefer?

The sentence was vague and fleeting, like the glow from a light that shines for a moment, and then vanishes. That it lacked an attribution as to source made it even more indefinite. It was exactly what it purported to be, a rumor, yet even the mere possibility sent my heart racing.
It was buried in the December 21, 2011 “WDW News and Rumors” rundown from a popular Disney community website and it read:
“There’s a possibility that SpectroMagic could return in October 2012.”
Craving something more definitive, I searched for corroboration. If …

Great Britain’s biggest fan of Mickey Mouse, 51 year-old Tony Quinlan of Gershwin Boulevard, Witham, has turned his home into a Disney paradise this holiday season.
Nearly all of the Christmas decorations are Disney-inspired, and Gershwin’s wife, Anne, says:
He just loves Mickey Mouse. He loves all things Disney. He’s just a kid that’s not grown up. He used to say when we had children that he did it for them, but now they’ve grown up, although we have granddaughters now. Of course he uses it as an excuse.

Disney Parks Brings Virtual Character Experience to Times Square

This past weekend, a little bit of Disney Parks magic came to New York City, as Disney held a very special new character experience event in Times Square. Throughout the weekend, Times Square visitors were able to interact with some of their favorite Disney characters virtually, through the use of special state-of-the-art augmented reality technology.
Participants in the event stood on a specific spot near the Times Square Disney Store, and looked up to see themselves on the Disney Store’s 2000 square foot digital sign. Thanks to Disney magic, however, the …
