The Disney Parks Blog is live streaming Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on Sunday, December 6 starting at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Disney to Live Stream the Walt Disney World Half Marathon and Full Marathon

The 2015 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is off and running.
So far runners have participated in the Family Fun Run 5K on Thursday morning and the Walt Disney World 10K just this morning.

Magic Kingdom’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks to be Broadcast Live

If you’re ringing in the New Year from the comfort of your living room (in your pajamas, of course), you can still celebrate the Disney way.
The Disney Parks Blog is live streaming the New Year’s Eve presentation of the Magic Kingdom’s ‘Fantasy in the Sky’ fireworks on December 31.

Disney Parks Announce New Halloween Disney Side Contest

Just in time for Halloween, the Disney Parks have announced a new “Disney Side” contest.
The contest runs through November 4 and fans will get a chance to upload their Disney Parks-themed Halloween photos for a chance to win a “Midnight at the Haunted Mansion” party and an overnight stay in Cinderella Castle.
The entry photos can feature home décor, food and beverage, pumpkin carving, or costumes.

runDisney Announces the Launch of ‘I Run Disney’ Where Fans Can Share Their Stories

Anyone who has ever participated in a runDisney event – whether it was a 5K or a Goofy Challenge – has a story to share.
To celebrate all the runners and walkers who participate in runDisney events each year, runDisney and Cigna have teamed up and recently launched a new site called ‘I Run Disney.’

A Fun Look at the Haunted Mansion-Inspired Disney Parks Merchandise

Our friends at the Disney Parks Blog had an up close and personal look at the new Haunted Mansion inspired Halloween merchandise set to debut at the Disney Parks this month.

Sneak Peek: The Lion King Wing at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

The Disney Parks Blog has offered up a sneak peek at one of the themed wings opening at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort: The Lion King wing. This wing doesn’t officially open until August 10, but you can check out the photo to the right for a glimpse at what you can expect when this wing opens to the public.

Video: Goofy Visits Disneyland in ‘The Art of Vacationing’

Fans of classic Disney animated shorts are in for a treat, as the Disneyland Resort recently released a new promotional video that pays tribute to the Disney cartoons of the past.
“The Art of Vacationing” features Goofy himself in a throwback to the classic “Art of” how-to animated cartoons, in which Goofy would demonstrate an activity in his own, not always successful, way.
