Disney Adds New Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes

There’s a new, sweet way to celebration special events and milestones at Disney World this spring.
Disney has announced the addition of Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes that will be available to order starting May 17.
The dome cakes will be available in chocolate or white chocolate and feature Mickey’s signature ears.
The ears can be decorated with special messages including “Happy Birthday” or “Congratulations,” or they can be left blank.
The Mickey Celebration Cakes will be available to order at all Disney owned-and-operated restaurants. Guests can add the cakes to existing Disney World dining …

Chef Rick Bayless to Open New Restaurant, Frontera Fresco, in Disney Springs

Another new restaurant has been announced for Disney Springs.
Chef Rick Bayless, winner of Top Chef Masters and a six-time James Beard Foundation award winner, is set to open Frontera Fresco.
The restaurant will serve up the authentic Mexican cuisine for which Chef Bayless is known, including hand-crafted tortas, tacos, fresh-made guacamole, and Mexican braised meat entrees. Guests can also enjoy margaritas, beer, and wine.

All-New Menu Revealed at Tortuga Tavern in the Magic Kingdom

Tortuga Tavern, the seasonal pirate-themed restaurant at the Magic Kingdom has revealed a brand-new menu.
Gone is the standard Mexican fare that used to be on the menu and in its place is a barbecue menu. Because we all know pirates love barbecue – or at least they do when their favorite Mexican food has been turned over to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café.

New Restaurant from Chef Art Smith Announced for Disney Springs

Disney has announced another new restaurant for Disney Springs.
Chef Art Smith – best known as the founder of Art and Soul in Washington, D.C., and as Oprah’s former chef – is opening a new restaurant in Disney Springs in 2016. The celebrity chef is also well-known for his appearances on Iron Chef America and Top Chef Masters.
The new eatery’s name is Homecoming: Florida Kitchen and Southern Shine. The name was inspired by Chef Smith’s status as a Florida native. The chef also completed a culinary internship at the Walt Disney …

Disney Parks Offering Romantic Dinners at Select Restaurants for True Love Week

As part of their Limited Time Magic promotion, both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be offering romantic meals for two at select restaurants during True Love Week.
From February 11 to 17, several restaurants will feature prix fixe menus so you and your sweetie can enjoy a memorable Valentine’s meal. New ‘Tapaz’ Waterfront Restaurant May Be Coming to Epcot’s Morocco

Over the past couple years, Walt Disney World has been greatly expanding their dining options in Epcot’s World Showcase, bringing in such new restaurants as Via Napoli, La Hacienda de San Angel, and the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. Now, another new restaurant may be in the works for 2013, this time in Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion.

We love the first photos that we’re seeing of Be Our Guest Restaurant!  The new Beauty and the Beast-themed eatery, part of the extensive Fantasyland expansion underway at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, is slated to open in time for the holidays, and it’s exciting to see what’s in store for guests.
