Name and Opening Season Announced for New Restaurant in Epcot’s Japan Pavilion

The new Signature dining location in Epcot’s Japan Pavilion has a name and an opening season.
The restaurant – Takumi-Tei – is scheduled to open this summer!
The restaurant’s name means “house of the artisan,” and according to Disney “the design celebrates the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world, while the food is inspired by the wonderful collaboration between nature and takumi, the artisan.”
The menu will feature wagyu beef and guests can enjoy a multi-course tasting menu with a traditional tea service.

Disney World Restaurants Featured During Orlando’s Magical Dining Month

The 2017 Orlando Magical Dining Month runs through September with a preview week at the end of August and this year many Disney World restaurants are participating!
Guests dining at the participating Orlando Magical Dining Month restaurants get to enjoy three-course meals for just $35 per person.
This year there are more than 100 restaurants with prix-fixe menus featuring appetizer, entree, and dessert.
One dollar from each Magical Dining Month meal is donated to charity. The 2017 charities are Freedom Ride and BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation.
