The fourth-annual Rubber Duck Derby was held at Disneyland Wednesday morning. The Derby is an employee fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Tamarah Robb, a guest-services manager in charge of organizing the event, says:

We have some exciting news to share with you today: the classic mountain climbers are returning to Disneyland’s Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction this summer.
When the ride first opened at Disneyland in 1959, the climbers were a part of the attraction. Disney even went so far as to give the climbers names like Hans, Fritz, and Otto. At one point, Mickey Mouse even climbed the 147-foot structure. Fans are excited about the climbers coming back, as many of them remember them as being part of the Matterhorn attraction when they were kids.

Disney Theme Park Merchandise has teamed up with eco-friendly company Alex and Ani to create a line of four exclusive charm bangles to be sold at Disney domestic properties, Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
The four expandable bangle charms that will be offered with this initial launch will include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and both Disneyland and Walt Disney World castle charms.

A new entertainment option will be coming to Disneyland park next month called Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.
This new weekend experience will arrive at Frontierland and encompass the former Festival Arena site on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays. Sources say that Starbucks will soon be arriving at “the happiest place on earth,” and will be opening a retail location at six Disney properties in California and Florida.
Guests will be able to visit the first Starbucks location, opening this summer at Disney California Adventure. Other locations will soon follow at Disneyland, as well as the theme parks in Florida – Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Now that spring break has come to a close, Disneyland has changed their entertainment and fireworks schedule. Instead of being held daily when tourists flocked to the theme park, the “Remember Dreams Come True” fireworks spectacular will now be held on weekends only.
The summer fireworks show called “Magical” will return next month, with nightly shows resuming in June.
