‘Disneyland Explorer’ App Now Available for iPad

With the new Disneyland Explorer app for the iPad, users can now experience all of the sights and sounds Disneyland Resort has to offer without ever leaving the comfort of their own home.
Over 100 experiences are shared via the app, including images, interactive touch points and videos that enable users to explore many of the attractions Disneyland has to offer. As you scroll through the images, you can explore the Pirates of the Caribbean Attraction, Star Tours, the themed Disneyland Hotel suites and plenty more.

‘Sheer Romance’ T-Shirts Coming to Disney Parks in February

You can make the Valentine’s Day spirit last a little longer with the new Sheer Romance collection of Double 5 ladies’ fashion tees, which will be available at Disney parks starting February 18.

Star Sighting: Jodie Sweetin Celebrates 30th Birthday at Disneyland Resort

Best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on Full House, Jodie Sweetin celebrated her 30th birthday by spending a fun filled day at Disneyland.
While her birthday party was held the night before, Sweetin celebrated the day of by heading to the park with her boyfriend, Morty Coyle and daughter Zoie from a previous relationship.
At Disney’s California Adventure, she even ran into Full House co-star John Stamos, where the two posed for the camera and looked like they were having a great time.

Celebrate Lunar New Year at Disneyland Park This Week

Guests who visit Disneyland Park this week will enjoy an added bonus:  celebration of Lunar New Year!
The Happy Lunar New Year Celebration!, which began last Friday and will run through January 29, includes special dance and music performances and decorations befitting the holiday.  Extra character meet-and-greets will also take place in front of “It’s a Small World.”  Mulan, Mushu, and other Disney characters will help to ring in the New Year with guests.

Walt Disney World Moms Panel Unveils New Feature

For the first time in the Walt Disney World Moms Panel 5-year history, panelists will now be able to receive and answer guests’ questions in both English and Spanish, making it easier than ever for guests to plan their Walt Disney World vacations. Additionally, two new areas have been added to the panel’s site, including runDisney and Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Park Celebrates ‘Three Kings Day’ for the First Time

If celebrating Three Kings Day, or Día de los Reyes Magos as it is known in many Latin American countries, is part of your holiday, you’ll be happy to know that the celebration continues throughout this weekend at Disneyland Resort.

Jolly Holidays Bakery Open For Business at Disneyland

We first brought you word that Disneyland planned to close the doors of its Blue Ribbon Bakery back in October, and make use of the space to expand The Carnation Cafe.  In its culinary place, around the corner, guests can now enjoy the Mary Poppins’-themed Jolly Holiday Bakery.  The new venue had its soft opening yesterday, and our friends at Disney Food Blog were there bright and early to take in all the fantastic new details.

Special Disneyland Resort Ticket Offer Available Now

Southern California residents can take advantage of a special Disneyland Resort ticket offer, which will enable guests to purchase a 2-day park ticket for $99, with their choice of Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. Guests can visit one park both days, or decide to visit each park on a separate day.
Plus, for the first time ever, visitors can also choose to purchase an additional third day for an extra $30. Blackout times and ticket restrictions can be viewed by visiting Disneyland.com/2days.

Disney and Hotel Union Come to an Agreement

After four years of a bitter contract disputes between Disney and their hotel union at the company’s Disneyland Resort, the two have finally come to an agreement. On Monday, Disney announced that a five-year contract agreement had been reached for the 2,100 members of Unite Here Local 11.
