Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa Offering Special Winter Travel Promotion

This winter, Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa is offering a special vacation package enabling guests to stay six nights for the price of five. Additionally, resort guests will receive a one-time $150 credit to use anywhere within the resort.
The offer is valid on stays between January 8, 2013 and March 10 with the exception of February 16-18. To qualify for this vacation offer, you must book your stay by January 15. For more information and to book your stay, please call (866) 309-2384.

Cars Land, Carthay Circle Restaurant, and Aulani Earn Themed Entertainment Awards

2011 and 2012 brought a number of huge expansions to Disney’s Parks and Resorts division, including the expansion of Disney California Adventure and the opening of Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa in Hawaii. In recognition of these high-quality expansions, the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has honored Disney with several Thea Awards.

Disney’s Aulani Resort Offering Halloween Activities for All Ages

Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa will be getting into the Halloween spirit and offering activities that guests of all ages can enjoy.
Until November 2, the resort will host “Happy Halloween Hawaiian Style,” where guests can mingle with Disney characters dressed up in their Halloween best as well as various Hawaiian-themed crafts and special trick-or-treating days. Additionally, Aunty’s Beach House will host special Halloween parties just for kids as well as spooky movie nights and “Hallow Teen” events on the beach and at the teen spa for older kids.

Starlit Hui Returns to Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa

After a one-month hiatus, Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa is proud to welcome Starlit Hui back in its new location on the Halawai lawn. Despite its new location, the nighttime show still features exciting live entertainment, hula performances and an after-party with Disney characters each Monday and Thursday evening.

Update: Aulani Resort & Spa Expansion Details Revealed

In July, we told you about expansion plans for Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa. Now, further details have emerged regarding these plans.
In the Waikolohe Valley pool area, a new pool, splash zone and water play areas will be added to expand the family fun for resort guests. Additionally, the resort plans to extend the deck space so that the pools “infinity edge” will be overlooking the adjacent lagoon. Conde Nast Traveler Places Disney’s Aulani Resort on 2012 Hot List

Disney’s Aulani Resort opened last year, and the $800 million property was the only Hawaii hotel to make Conde Nast Traveler’s 2012 Hot List – one of 121 new hotels and resorts worldwide that made the list.
The honors didn’t stop there, however. Aulani’s Laniwai spa – the only Hawaiian spa featured – made the list of the 35 best new spas in the world. Readers will be able to read about Laniwai spa in the May edition of Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

Disney’s Aulani Resort to Hire 800 Employees

As Disney works to complete the finishing touches on the forthcoming Aulani Resort & Spa, the company will need to fill 800 jobs before the resort opens to the public.
Aulani Vacation Club Vice President Djaun Rivers says that “we’re looking for people who are genuine who have the heart to deliver the Hawaiian story and deliver great service.” Ideally, the resort is looking to hire locals to fill most, if not all, of the open positions.

Disney’s Aulani Spa Given New Name

Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa that will open this fall in Hawaii, has given the spa a new name – Laniwai, which translates to mean “freshwater heaven.”
The new name came about as a direct result of the Hawaii connection and reverence to nature, and the name itself actually celebrates the cultural significance of rainbows, which symbolize joy, life, greenery, growth and good fortune.
