Ample Hills Creamery Launches ‘Star Wars’ Ice Cream Flavors

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in a little over a week and Ample Hills Creamery is preparing with the launch of three new Star Wars-themed ice cream flavors.
The new flavors will be available at the Ample Hills Creamery location at Disney’s BoardWalk.

New Character Breakfast with Rapunzel Coming to Trattoria al Forno

There’s a brand new character breakfast starring Rapunzel and Flynn Rider coming to Disney’s BoardWalk this spring.
The as-yet-unnamed character breakfast is coming to Trattoria al Forno and will feature couples from Disney films including Tangled and The Little Mermaid.
We don’t know much about the breakfast other that it is being touted as a “bon voyage” meal where guests will be encouraged to “share the tales of your own hopes and dreams” and talk about one of their great adventures.

Flying Fish Scheduled to Open August 3 at Disney’s BoardWalk

Flying Fish – formerly the Flying Fish Café – is set to reopen on August 3 at Disney’s BoardWalk.
The refurbished signature dining location will feature a refurbished dining room and a new kitchen led by Chef Tim Majoras.
The menu at Flying Fish has also been revamped and will feature appetizers like Yellowfin Tuna, a Tour of the Coast, and Kurobuta Pork Belly. Entrees include wood-fired Carabinero Prawn and Cobia, Plancha-Seared Hokkadio Scallops, and Waygu Filet Mignon.

Disney Gives Sneak Peek at AbracadaBar at Disney’s Boardwalk

A new cocktail lounge is opening soon at Disney’s Boardwalk and recently Disney gave fans a sneak peek at the AbracadaBar.
The bar has a backstory that goes like this: it used to be the stomping grounds for magicians and they would gather after their shows to conjure up new drinks.
One night, every magician in the bar vanished into thin air. And now, after nearly seven decades, the bar is reopening as the AbracadaBar.

Flying Fish and AbracadaBar Lounge Opening this Fall at Disney’s BoardWalk

The Flying Fish Café at Disney’s BoardWalk is set to reopen this fall as the Flying Fish with a new design and an updated menu.
Chef Tim Majoras will lead the kitchen at Flying Fish and sustainable fish will be headlining the new menu.

Ample Hills Creamery Opening at Disney’s BoardWalk

A brand-new ice cream shop is coming to Disney’s BoardWalk area!
Ample Hills Creamery, a Brooklyn-based ice cream shop, is set to open this spring at the BoardWalk.
The ice cream parlor is known for its creative and fun ice cream creations, including a Star Wars-inspired line of flavors that came out earlier this year.
The Disney location will be the first Ample Hills locations outside of New York.

Disney Gives Guests a Sneak Peek at Menu from Trattoria al Forno

Disney’s newest restaurant, Trattoria al Forno, is scheduled to open December 18 at Disney’s BoardWalk.
The new Italian eatery takes the place of Kouzzina by Cat Cora which closed on September 30, and will be open for breakfast and dinner.
The dinner menu includes an antipasti section featuring calamari, mussels, salads, and cured meats. The entrees include about six pasta dishes including a seasonal risotto, and about eight “carne” dishes including slow-cooked lamb shank, whole roasted fish with vegetables, eggplant rollatini, and chicken parmigiana.

Trattoira al Forno to Replace Kouzzina by Cat Cora at Disney’s BoardWalk

Disney’s BoardWalk will be home to a new Italian restaurant by the end of this year.
Trattoria al Forno is set to open in the location currently occupied by Kouzzina by Cat Cora, which is closing this fall.
The Italian eatery will feature a menu that includes dishes from regions including Bologna and Milano. The “Old World” Italian food and cooking techniques will also feature handcrafted mozzarella, cavatelli, and wood-fired pizzas.
A seasonal risotta will always be on the menu, in addition to classic Italian dishes such as chicken parmagiana and baked lasagna.

Walt Disney World Resort Announces New Year’s Eve Plans

Walt Disney World Resort has announced big plans for their New Year’s Eve celebrations, and guests can choose to ring in the new year in a variety of ways at the resort’s various theme parks.
At Magic Kingdom, guests can ring in New Year’s Eve with Fantasy in the Sky fireworks. This event occurs at 11:50 p.m., with the park’s Wishes fireworks show taking place at 8:30 p.m.
