The transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs continues.
Disney recently announced the installation of the “Springs Bottling Co.” marquee on the building that will house Morimoto Asia. The sign is part of the Disney Springs backstory of being a turn-of-the-century waterfront town.

This holiday season the Downtown Disney Marketplace is getting all new holiday décor that features a handcrafted look.
The Downtown Disney décor is meant to evoke a feeling of a handcrafted Christmas and the ornaments will feature elements including spools, buttons, burlap, and yard.

Cherry Tree Lane inside the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney is the location for a two-day PANDORA Jewelry trunk show.
The showcase is November 7 and 8 from 10-11:30 a.m. and guests will have a chance to see the new Disney Collection by PANDORA.
Sixteen Disney PANDORA items that are exclusive to the Disney Parks will be offered during the trunk show, including a bracelet engraved with the castle logo.

This year’s Festival of the Masters might have been cancelled due to the ongoing construction at Downtown Disney, but fans can still get their fill of artists this month and next.
On select weekends in November and December, the Walt Disney World Resort is hosting a Disney Artist Showcase at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney. Artists from Walt Disney Design Group, Yellow Shoes Creative Group, and Walt Disney Imagineering will be on hand at the events.

The first new parking garage in Downtown Disney is scheduled to open on November 20.
The parking structure is part of the Disney Springs construction project and will eventually mean an additional 4,000 parking spots for the shopping and entertainment complex.
As Disney continues with the reimagining of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs, the construction project also includes a pedestrian bridge, an extended I-4 exit ramp that leads directly into one of the parking garages, and the widening of Buena Vista Drive. The road will also feature a dedicated bus lane.

On November 1 and 2 guests can take part in a special launch of Disney Infinity 2.0 at Once Upon a Toy in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

During the “purchase opportunity” event guests purchase the Infinity 2.0 Starter Pack featuring Merida from Disney/Pixar’s Brave and Stitch. Guests can will receive one complimentary figure with the purchase of the 2.0 Starter Pack.

Two new restaurants have been announced for Disney Springs.
The first, Morimoto Asia, is from celebrity (and Iron) Chef Masaharu Morimoto and the Patina Restaurant Group.
This restaurant is Chef Morimoto’s first Pan-Asian dining location and it will be located at The Landing, which is the heart of Disney Springs.
Morimoto Asia will feature flavors from around Asia and will have exhibition kitchens featuring street-food stalls, dim sum, and Peking duck.

Fall is officially here and at Walt Disney World that means Halloween, the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, and some great merchandise events.
Speaking of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, guests can pick up commemorative merchandise at the event.

MagicBands are the way of the World for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, but now there’s a new option for those who purchase the retail MagicBands.
Any guest can purchase a retail MagicBand and use them during their visit to Walt Disney World – even if they aren’t guest of an “on property” hotel. These retail MagicBands can be linked at the time of purchase by using a valid theme park admission, Memory Maker card, or another active MagicBand.
