Eat to the Beat Lineup Announced for 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

It’s that time of year again – time to get ready for the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
We now know the full lineup of this year’s Eat to the Beat concert series performers and there are 111 new acts and several returning fan favorites.

Celebrate the Fourth of July with Fireworks, Characters, Entertainment, and More

The Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating the Fourth of July with special fireworks, entertainment, and more.
The Magic Kingdom is lighting up the night on July 3 and 4 with ‘Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.’ The nighttime fireworks show takes place at 9 p.m. both nights.

New Frozen Ever After Dessert Party Coming to Epcot

A brand new dessert party is coming to Epcot! The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party is set to replace the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party beginning July 17.
The party includes desserts, fireworks, and a chance to ride the Frozen Ever After attraction.
The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party takes place in World Showcase Plaza East and includes drinks and desserts inspired by Frozen. Guests will also enjoy reserved seating for IllumiNations: Reflections of Eart.

2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival to Feature a Record 35 Marketplace Booths

We’re still a few months away from the start of the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, but Disney has announced some exciting news – this year’s Festival will feature 35 Marketplace Booths.
This is a record number of booths and the number is a nod to the 35th anniversary of Epcot this fall!
The 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicks off August 31 and runs for 75 days until November 13 (another record for the Festival).

D23 Announces Fanniversary Celebration

D23 has announced the 2017 Fanniversary Celebration – and this year fans are celebrating the 35th anniversary of Ecpot.
The celebration is planned for Sunday, October 1 (the actual anniversary of Epcot) and it kicks off a month-long celebration for Epcot’s 35th anniversary.
The event takes place at World Showplace and includes three presentations that celebrate Epcot.
Attendees will also receive a boxed lunch during the presentation and a one-of-a-kind gift created for the Fanniversary celebration.
Tickets for the D23 Fanniversary are $135 per person plus a $5 processing fee. The event is only …

Walt Disney World Resort Gondola System Appears to be a Reality

Back in February we told you about rumors of a gondola lift system that was rumored to be coming to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Now it appears that this new transportation system is becoming a reality for the resort.
The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that documents obtained from the Reedy Creek Improvement District confirm the project.
According to the documents, there will be six stations with three gondola lines that link Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the area between Pop Century and Art of Animation.

Egg-stravaganza Returns to Disneyland in April

A fun holiday tradition returns to Disneyland next month when the Egg-stravaganza scavenger hunt starts on April 1.
The egg-themed scavenger hunt takes place at Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District through April 16.
Guests who wish to participate in the scavenger hunt can purchase an Egg-stravaganza map for $5.99 at merchandise locations around Disneyland.

Is Disney Planning to Build a Cable Car System at the Walt Disney World Resort?
