Check Out the Latest Details About Epcot’s Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction

Disney has shared more details about the new Guardians of the Galaxy attraction that is coming to Epcot in 2021.
The new ride will be a “a one-of-a-kind storytelling coaster that connects the adventure of a storyline with the thrills of a coaster,” according to Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek.
The ride building is so large that four Spaceship Earths could fit inside.
The will be one of the world’s longest enclosed roller coasters and guests will be immersed in the action as soon as it launches.

Disney Skyliner to Start Operations in the Fall of 2019

The Disney Skyliner is set to begin operations in the fall of 2019.
The Skyliner will transport guests between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Disney’s Riviera Hotel.
The Disney Skyliner will also give guests a whole new view of Walt Disney World with great photo opportunities and new views of World Showcase at Epcot.
Workers have installed the last support tower for the Skyliner system and are starting to thread the cable for the Sklyiner.

More Details Announced for the 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts

The 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts runs for 39 days – from January 18 through February 25 at Epcot!
The Festival is a celebration of the culinary, visual, and performing arts and includes seminars, workshops, the Disney on Broadway series, and Food Studios.
In 2019 the Disney on Broadway concert series will be performed every night of the Festival and will feature the following performers:

Kerry Butler (“Beauty and the Beast”) and Kevin Massey (“Tarzan”)
Meredith Inglesby (“The Little Mermaid”) and Steve Blanchard (“Beauty and the Beast”)

Check Out the Merchandise for the 2018 Wine and Dine Half Marathon

The 2018 runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon is this weekend, November 1-4, at the Walt Disney World Resort, and Disney is giving guests a preview of the race merchandise.
Merchandise for this year includes logo performance apparel and “I Did It!” apparel – all featuring “romantic, Tuscan” artwork and popular characters.
Additional items include: hat and assorted headbands, limited release Disney pins, TERVIS glassware, car magnets and more. And, there’s also a special ear hat designed for the runDisney Kids Races.

Menus Announced for the 2018 Epcot Festival of the Holidays

The 2018 Epcot Festival of the Holidays kicks off November 18 at Epcot, and we have details on the menus for the Holiday Kitchens.
This year’s Festival will feature 12 official Holiday Kitchens plus additional food locations!
New for 2018 is L’Chaim!, and Taste Track continues its role as a food booth serving up variations of croissant donuts.
L’Chaim will be serving will serve traditional Jewish dishes such as Pastrami on Rye, Chicken and Matzo Ball Soup, Egg Cream, and more.

Disney Shares Update on the Disney Skyliner System

Work continues to progress on the new Disney Skyliner transportation system at the Walt Disney World Resort, and recently Disney shared an update with guests.
The Skyliner will connect two theme parks – Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios – and four hotels, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the Disney Riviera Hotel.
The stations for the Skyliner will be designed to fit into the area where they are located at the hotels and theme parks.

Dates Announced for Festival of the Arts and Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot

Dates have been announced for two of the annual Epcot Festivals – the Festival of the Arts and the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.
The 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts runs from January 18 – February 25, 2019, while the Flower and Garden Festival runs for 90 days from March 6 – June 3, 2019.
At both the Festival of the Arts and the Flower and Garden Festival guests will have a chance to enjoy the nighttime concerts on every night of the Festivals.
