Sneak Peek of Merchandise for the Epcot Festival of the Arts

The 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts kicks off next month and runs through February 19, and Disney has given guests a sneak preview of the merchandise available at the Festival.
The merchandise for the Festival includes apparel, pins, drinkware, and new items including a note set and a zip case.
Many of the products will feature mulit-colored silhouettes of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Rafiki.
The artwork on the merchandise will also adorn the banners for the Festival.
Figment will also be featured on much of the merchandise including pins inspired by classic works …

Disney Gives Sneak Peek at the Disney Skyliner

The Disney Skyliner transportation system was announced this summer at the D23 Expo and Disney recently gave guests an update about the new gondola system.
The Skyliner “cabins” will feature Disney characters including Mickey and Minnie, Belle and Beast, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, and more.
The Skyliner will have stations at Epcot’s International Gateway, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts (shared), and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The station at Epcot will be in the same style as the European buildings near the International Gateway and guests will get a …

Performers Announced for the Disney on Broadway Series at the Epcot Festival of the Arts

The 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts kicks off January 12 and Disney has announced the lineup of performers for the Disney on Broadway concert series.

Membership Magic Events Includes Meet-and-Greet with Kurt Russell

On December 10, Disney Vacation Club members have a chance to meet Disney Legend and actor Kurt Russell during a special Membership Magic event.
The event includes an on-stage conversation about his acting career, wine making, and film making.
Russell has earned acclaim as a winemaker thanks to his GoGi Wines, which are served at several restaurants on Disney property and at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
Guests at the meet-and-greet event will have a chance to enjoy two of his GoGi wines.
Attendees will also get priority seating for the 5 p.m. …

Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion Celebrating ‘Coco’ with New Entertainment and Exhibits

If you’re visiting Epcot’s Mexico pavilion this month you can check out new entertainment and exhibits inspired by Disney/Pixar’s Coco.
El Mariachi Coco de Santa Cecilia, a new musical group, will be entertaining guests from now through January 6.
The group is named for the town in the film and will perform songs from Coco including “Remember Me” and “The World Es Mi Familia.”
The Mexico Folk Art Gallery currently has a display of “Dia De Muertos” artwork and will soon add an interactive exhibit and dioramas from the film.

Disney Announces Special Experiences for the Epcot Festival of the Arts

The 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts kicks off January 12 and Disney has announced several special events and workshops that guests can enjoy at the Festival.
Some of the special workshops and events include: Art of Topiaries, Watermelon Carving (yes, really), Magic With Water, Animated Flip Books, Food Styling 101, Handcrafted Calligraphy, Handwritten Typography, and more.
The Festival of the Arts celebrates the visual, performing, and culinary arts with special workshops, performances, and Food Studios.

Candlelight Processional Starts Tonight at Epcot

The holiday season really gets underway tonight at Epcot with the start of the 2017 Candlelight Processional.
This holiday favorite runs three times a night from now through December 30.
The show tells the Christmas story with the help of a celebrity narrator, choir, and 50-piece orchestra.
The celebrity narrators for 2017 are:

The SpetacuLAB Opens in Epcot’s Innoventions

Epcot’s Innoventions has a new show – The SpectacuLAB which features interactive experiments and fun for guests.
The show is presented by worldwide technology company Murata and teaches guests about the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education.
The SpectacuLAB is run by two scientists and younger guests can volunteer to participate in the experiments which “showcase the connection between science and technology.”
The scientists running the show are from Science from Scientists, a non-profit organization that teaches kids about STEM fields.
The show is presented several times a day in Innoventions. …

2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts Food Studios Announced

The 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts starts on January 12 and Disney has announced the Food Studios for the Festival.
The Festival celebrates the visual, culinary, and performing arts with artist performances, seminars, and of course the Food Studios.
The Food Studios for 2018 are: The Artist’s Table, The Deconstructed Dish, Cuisine Classique, The Painter’s Palate, Pop Eats, Decadent Delights, The Masterpiece Kitchen, El Artista Hambriento (The Hungry Artist), L’Arte di Mangiare, Takumi Table, The Painted Panda, L’Art du Cuisine Francaise, and Mosaic Canteen.

Dates Announced for the 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

The dates have been announced for the 2018 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.
The 2018 event will take place February 28 through May 28 and next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Festival.
Guests attending the Festival can enjoy Disney character topiaries, 15 Outdoor Kitchens, the Garden Rocks concert series (and Garden Rocks concert series dining packages), Garden Tours, new interactive play areas for the kids, and more.
The Egg-Stravaganza Egg Hunt will also be returning to the Festival.
