2014 Orlando Classic Takes Place November 27-30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

There’s more than just turkey and football being served up during Thanksgiving weekend. The 2014 Orlando Classic basketball tournament starts Thursday at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The premiere pre-season college basketball tournament is hosted by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the games are played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
This year’s field includes National Championship contender Kansas and Michigan State as the event headliners. The other teams in the tournament include Tennessee, Marquette, Georgia Tech, and Rhode Island.

The Atlanta Braves Report to Spring Training at the Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

It’s that time of year again – spring training time at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Atlanta Braves pitchers and catchers started their pre-season workouts on Valentine’s Day this year and the full team is reporting today, February 18. This year is the 17th year of Braves Spring Training at the complex.

Drew Brees Bringing Football Academy to ESPN Wide World of Sports

Some of the best high school football players in the country are set to attend a football academy hosted by New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
This is the first football academy hosted by Brees, and while it’s open to all skill levels, the academy is expected to attract some of the most highly-ranked high school football players in the country. Teams from the southeast and as far away as California are scheduled to compete at the three-day academy.
