Guest Benefits at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels Extended through 2019

If you’re making plans to stay at one of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, the guest benefits have been extended through 2019.
Benefits include the ability to book FastPass+ 60 days out and Extra Magic Hours, just like the benefits available to guests at “on property” Disney World Resort Hotels.
Now these benefits will be available through December 31, 2019.
Guests at the seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels can also link their reservations to their My Disney Experience app.

Additional Extra Magic Hours this Summer at Walt Disney World

This spring and summer, guests at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can enjoy additional Extra Magic Hours at the theme parks.
From now through June 30, guests can enjoy Extra Magic Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and experience Pandora – The World of Avatar and more.
In July and August guests can enjoy daily Extra Magic Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where they’ll be able to experience Toy Story Land and its attractions.
Toy Story Land opens June 30.
Additional Extra Magic Hours will also be available at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. …

Toy Story Land FastPass+ Now Available for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests

It’s time to make your FastPass+ selections for Toy Story Land – if you’re a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guest!
Guests who are 60 days from their vacation can now select a FastPass+ for one attraction in Toy Story Land and two other Hollywood Studios attractions.
Starting July 1, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 8 a.m-10:30 p.m. for a limited time.
Additional Extra Magic Hour opportunities will be available including daily morning Extra Magic Hours, and evening Extra Magic Hours will be offered once per week.

FastPass+ Opens for Attractions in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Today’s the day! You can now make FastPass+ reservations for the two new attractions in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The new land opens May 27 and will feature two new attractions: Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey.
Avatar Flight of Passage will allow guests to “fly” on a banshee over Pandora, and the family-friendly Na’Vi River Journey takes guests on a journey down a mystical river in a bioluminescent rainforest.

Walt Disney World to Reduce Evening Extra Magic Hours in 2013

Since 2004, Walt Disney World hotel guests have been able to enjoy the exclusive benefit of Extra Magic Hours. Each night or morning, hotel guests have the opportunity to spend extra time in a designated theme park, which is open either one hour prior to park opening or three hours after park closing exclusively to those with a valid room key from a Walt Disney World hotel. President Obama is Going to Disney World

In plans that were revealed Tuesday, the White House has announced that President Barack Obama will be paying a visit to Walt Disney World later today.  The president is expected to reveal policies that will give U.S. tourism a boost.
Central to the president’s message will be the push for visa reform, especially for countries like Brazil and China.  The process for obtaining visas to visit the U.S. from both countries is arduous, and require in-person interviews and several days’ wait to gain permission to travel here.

Walt Disney World to Cut Monorail Hours Indefinitely

Guests heading to Walt Disney World’s Epcot or Magic Kingdom Parks during evening Extra Magic Hours will now find themselves with one less transportation option, as Disney has announced new operating hours for their monorail system. While the monorails previously ran for approximately one and a half hours after park closing and through extended hours, the monorails will now only operate for one hour after the official park closing each night. They will no longer operate during Extra Magic Hours, Disney’s extended park hours exclusively for their resort guests.
