The Music of Pixar Live! – A Symphony of Characters debuted May 26 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This all-new musical show celebrates the music, animation, and characters of Pixar films. A live orchestra performs musical selections form Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, The Incredibles, and Cars.
The show also features video segments with the film’s composers, showing how a Pixar film is scored.

‘Finding Dory’ Sets Opening Weekend Record for Animated Film

Finding Dory set a new box office record for an opening weekend for animated films.
The sequel to Finding Nemo earned an estimated $136.2 million, earning it the No. 1 spot for the weekend.
Finding Dory earned $9.2 million Thursday night and $54 million on Friday, making this new box office record an easy one.
The Disney/Pixar film stars Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks as Dory and Marlin, reprising their roles from Finding Nemo (which was in theaters 13 years ago!).

New ‘Finding Nemo’ Merchandise Arrives at Disney Parks

With a little more than a month left before Finding Dory swims into theaters, guests at the Disney Parks will find a new slate of merchandise inspired by Finding Nemo.
The new merchandise is part of a regular upgrade in products.
New items include apparel, home décor, pins, seasonal items, and even a Dory-themed ear hat.
Kids and adults will find T-shirts with new artwork from Disney Design Group artists, including a Bruce the shark tee and another tee with “Mr. Grumpy Gills” on it.

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club Hosting a Screening of ‘Finding Nemo’ on May 21

D23: The Official Disney Fan club is hosting a special screening of Finding Nemo on Saturday, May 21 at the AMC Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort.
This event is open to Gold Members and their families and the price is $25 per person plus a $5 processing fee. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 6 at 10 a.m. PT.

Characters from ‘Finding Dory’ to Join Turtle Talk with Crush at Disney Parks

Characters from the new Disney/Pixar film Finding Dory will be joining Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot’s The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Disney California Adventure this summer.
The new characters include Destiny the whale shark, Bailey the beluga whale, and Hank the septopus (a seven-legged octopus). Crush and  Squirt will still be swimming up to the ‘Human Tank’ during the show.

New ‘Finding Nemo’-Themed Attraction Coming to Tokyo DisneySea in 2017

The Oriental Land Company and Disney have announced a new Finding Nemo attraction is coming to Tokyo DisneySea in 2017.
The new attraction will be based on the Disney/Pixar hit Finding Nemo and its 2016 sequel Finding Dory.
On the attraction guests will board a submarine that “shrinks” to fish size. The ride will use a system that blends visuals from the films with motion.

Plot for ‘Finding Dory’ Announced by Pixar President at Comic-Con in Brazil

The plot for Finding Dory has been released and perhaps the biggest news is that the movie’s setting isn’t the ocean.
According to Pixar President Jim Morris, the new film will take place at the Marine Biology Institute of California.
The film takes place after Nemo, Marlin, and Dory return to Nemo’s home on the reef. Dory goes on a school field trip with Nemo and has to face memories of her past and her family.

‘Finding Nemo’ Sequel ‘Finding Dory’ Officially Announced

Last year, we let you know about some speculation that Disney and Pixar were working on a new sequel to their hit film Finding Nemo. Today, Disney officially announced the much-anticipated sequel, which will be titled Finding Dory.

Pixar: Behind the Screens Event Debuting at the Sydney Opera House’s GRAPHIC Festival

At the annual GRAPHIC Animation Festival held at Sydney’s Opera House in Australia, attendees will be able to get a behind-the-scenes in Pixar: Behind the Screens.

Disney Releases ‘Finding Nemo’ Video Game

Disney has brought Nemo and the gang back in an updated version of a 2006 video game: Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition, available for the Nintendo DS and 3DS. This new game coincided with the release of Finding Nemo 3D, which hit theaters September 14, 2012.
