IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth Ending at Epcot in 2019

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, the long-running nighttime spectacular at Epcot, is ending in the late summer of 2019 after more than 20 years.
According to Disney, the Disney Parks Entertainment Team is already working on a replacement for the show.
IllumiNations started in 1999 as part of the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration.
The new show is being touted as an “all-new nighttime fireworks spectacular” that will “be part of the park’s exciting evolution.”
The classic IllumiNations will be celebrated up until the summer of 2019 when it is replaced.

New After Fireworks Dessert Party Coming to the Magic Kingdom

There’s a brand new nighttime party coming to the Magic Kingdom and it’ll take place after the nightly fireworks!
The After Fireworks Dessert Party starts on May 28 at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.
Guests will have a chance to enjoy desserts inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom including: S’mores Action Station for Frontierland, Pineapple Delights for Adventureland, Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes from Liberty Square, Macarons for Fantasyland, a Cookie Table for Tomorrowland, and Strawberry Tarts for Main Street U.S.A.
Savory items are also on the menu including cheese, mini egg …

Watch a Live Stream of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks on December 31

If you can’t make it to the Magic Kingdom on New Year’s Eve you can still catch the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks – from the comfort of your home!
The Disney Parks Blog is broadcasting a live stream of the fireworks on December 31.
The broadcast will begin at 11:45 p.m. on the Disney Parks Blog.
It’s the perfect way to ring in the New Year without the capacity crowds!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks at the Walt Disney World Resort

If you’re lucky enough to be spending New Year’s Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort you’ll want to check out the holiday fireworks displays.
At the Magic Kingdom guests can catch the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks on December 30 and 31 starting at 11:50 p.m. There will also be a special 6:50 p.m. display on both nights for the kiddos.
Also at the Magic Kingdom, guests can dance the night away at dance parties in Tomorrowland and Frontierland. The Magic Kingdom is open from 8 a.m. until 1 a.m. on …

Magic Kingdom’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks to be Broadcast Live

If you’re ringing in the New Year from the comfort of your living room (in your pajamas, of course), you can still celebrate the Disney way.
The Disney Parks Blog is live streaming the New Year’s Eve presentation of the Magic Kingdom’s ‘Fantasy in the Sky’ fireworks on December 31.
The fireworks display starts at 11:40 p.m. ET, and if you plan on tuning in to watch you should visit the Disney Parks Blog at 11:35 p.m. ET on New Year’s Eve.

Heading to Walt Disney World for New Year’s Eve this year? Disney has just announced some of the special fireworks shows and events that will be featured throughout the Resort that night to help guests celebrate the start of 2012.
