Burton stopped to pose in front of Disneyland Paris’ spooky Phantom Manor attraction with actress Helena Bonham-Carter and their children Billy Ray and Indiana Rose. Joining the family were Jack and Sally, the main characters from the 1993 film The Nightmare Before Christmas, which Burton produced and co-wrote. Jack and Sally are currently making appearances in the park as part of Disneyland Paris’ Disney Halloween Festival, which continues through November 4.

Subway has agreed to collaborate with Disney and launch a marketing campaign to tie-in with the media giant’s upcoming film Wreck-It Ralph.
Generally, fast food establishments have served as sources for studios’ marketing, but Disney wants to promote healthy eating options for kids. Because of Subway’s “Fresh Fit for Kids” meal, Disney decided to choose the sandwich chain to promote their film.
Additionally, Subway offers a lot of exposure for Disney flicks. With more than 37,000 stores in 100 countries, the chain offers a lot of potential for promotion. Jeff Larson, …

Disney Releases ‘Frankenweenie’ Retro-style Movie Posters

Disney released six new Frankenweenie movie posters yesterday, gearing up for the movie’s release this Friday, October 5. The posters were done in a vintage “monster movie” style, an homage to the retro-style of the film. Each poster highlights an animal brought back to life in the film, but then crossed with some kind of deadly movie monster.
Sparky, the films canine hero, is the star of two posters while the other animals each get their own feature presentation.
A few of my favorites are below.

On September 18, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Judge Dredd for the first time ever on Blu-ray. Given the Dredd 3D reboot that’s currently in the works, the release of this 90′s film on Blu-ray will likely entice not only fans of the original, but prompt them to see the upcoming remake as well.
