Disney Announces Location for Space-Themed Restaurant at Epcot

Disney has announced the location of the space-themed restaurant at Epcot!
The immersive restaurant which will give guests “amazing meals and a spectacular view – from high above Earth” is going to be built next to Mission:Space.
The exact location is in a newly developed area between Mission:Space and Test Track in Epcot’s Future World.
The new restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group and when it is opened, guests will be invited to “travel to space for an amazing dining experience in the stars” according to Disney.

2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Details and News

We’re getting closer to the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival (just 79 days!) and we have a lot of exciting news to share with you!
This year’s Festival will feature several new Marketplace Booths including The Chew Collective, Chocolate Studio, and the Wine & Dine Studio. After a hiatus the Island of the Caribbean is making a return to the Festival.

New Culinary Demos, Menu Items, and More for the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

The 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival will kick off September 14 and run for a record 62 days through November 14, and we have some exciting news about what guests can expect at this year’s event.
Three marketplace booths are returning for sure – Greece, Farm Fresh, and Desserts & Champagne.
Guests can enjoy hard soda floats at the Desserts & Champagne booth, while a new vegan dish is coming to Greece, and Farm Fresh is gearing up to showcase Florida’s bounty once again with some savory dishes.

Innoventions West at Epcot Closing in May for Refurbishment

Disney has announced that Innoventions West in Epcot’s Future World is closing in May for a refurbishment.
The attraction is home to Think presented by IBM, The Great Piggy Bank Adventure presented by T. Rowe Price, and Where’s the Fire presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance.
All three of the attractions will be replaced during the refurbishment. Disney has said that the sponsorship agreements with these companies are ending.
There is no word yet as to what might be replacing the exhibits in Innoventions West. The current exhibits in Innoventions East will remain. Those …

New Concept Art Revealed for Revamped Test Track in Epcot

A few weeks ago, we gave you a look at what the exterior of the revamped Test Track attraction in Walt Disney World’s Epcot will look like when the attraction reopens December 6. Now, GM and Disney have released even more concept art for the attraction, giving us a look inside this futuristic renovation.

Details of the New Reimagined Test Track Revealed

Our friends at the Disney Parks Blog spoke with Disney Imagineer Melissa Jeselnick recently about the new reimagined Test Track ride in Epcot’s Future World. The refurbished ride is scheduled to debut this fall, and today’s interview provided new details, including the release of a new marquee rendering for the attraction.

New Concept Art Released for Reimagined Test Track Attraction

Just a few weeks ago, Epcot’s Test Track attraction closed its doors to undergo a major renovation. This week, the Disney Parks Blog gave us a better look at what we can expect from the attraction once it reopens, thanks to some recently released concept art for the reimagined experience.

Refurbished Test Track Attraction at Epcot Will  Turn Guests into Automotive Designers

This fall, a new version of the popular Epcot Test Track attraction will be unveiled, giving guests an exclusive look at the world of automotive design.
The refurbished attraction will be called the Chevrolet Design Center at Epcot, and will allow guests to design their own custom vehicles. After designing a vehicle, they’ll be able to take a ride on a six-passenger SimCar to test out their design on the race track.

Cranberry Bog Installed at Walt Disney World for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

For the very first time, a real cranberry bog has been installed at Walt Disney World for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The bog was placed in the area connecting Future World and World Showcase, and is presented in conjunction with Ocean Spray. Ocean Spray has been taking their displays on the road since 2005 with their “Bogs Across America” tour.

Walt Disney World Releases Dates For the 2011 “Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival”

Halloween hasn’t even tinged the air with orange candy corn or goblins yet & we’re already looking forward to Spring blooms! Disney is releasing some early information about the 18th annual “EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival” which is scheduled to take place March 2 through May 15, 2011 at Walt Disney World.
