Alex and Ani Bracelets Featuring Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto to be Retired

If you’re a fan of Alex and Ani bangles and you’re hoping to get your hands on the bracelets featuring Donald, Goofy, or Pluto you better hurry!
The bangles with character silhouettes featuring Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto are being retired beginning March 7. The “retirement” of these designs is to make way for new designs, including the recently-announced Star Wars silhouettes.

New Hand-Painted Goofy Ink & Paint Cel Debuts at Walt Disney World Resort

Fans or collectors of the hand-painted Ink & Paint Cels at Disney Parks will be happy to hear that a new piece is debuting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Arriving March 12 at Stage 1 Company Store is an all-new hand-painted Ink & Paint Cel featuring Goofy. The “Goofy Sport” piece features Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck playing soccer in a stadium.

The second season of Mickey Mouse is set to premiere on Disney Channel Friday, April 11.

New Men’s Apparel for spring 2014 Arriving at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

It’s time to spruce up for spring at the Disney Parks with the debut of new men’s apparel items including T-shirts, hats, and woven shirts.
Some of the new softlines merchandise features a tropical theme with Grumpy, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck. The T-shirt wording includes “Another Grumpy Day in Paradise” and Tikis shaped like Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.
The tropical theme continues on a new hat that features vintage character labels designed by Disney Design Group Artists.

runDisney and New Balance Introduce a Second Line of Running Shoes Featuring Disney Characters

Last month New Balance and runDisney announced the design for the 2014 runDisney 860 running shoes featuring Sorcerer Mickey and Pink Minnie. And now, there are two more shoes to add to the runDisney line.

‘Mickey Mouse’ Cartoon Shorts Debuting on Disney Channel

A new series of 2D cartoon shorts featuring everyone’s favorite mouse debuts today on the Disney Channel. Simply called Mickey Mouse, the shorts air this weekend with three new cartoons, and continue with Friday premieres starting July 5.
The cartoons draw their inspiration from the 1930’s-era Mickey Mouse cartoons, but have their own contemporary touches. The characters’ designs featured a “rubber hose” style for exaggerated animation, and the background designs reflect the style from the 1950s and 1960s. Celebrities Petition Barneys to Change Minnie Mouse Window Display

Barneys have released a mock-up of their intended Christmas window display, which features iconic Disney characters like Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald and Daisy re-imagined as tall, super-skinny models.
Several celebrities – including Sideways star Virginia Madsen and Disney heiress Abigail Disney – have added their names to a petition to scrap the holiday display, believing it sends the wrong message to young girls.

Disney Characters Get Makeover for Barneys Campaign

Barneys, the New York fashion house, has teamed up with The Walt Disney Co. for a special marketing event that will include a display featuring Disney’s most iconic characters. Riffing on Disney’s famous electrical parade, the “Electric Holiday” display will include a short film starring Minnie Mouse, who fantasizes about going to Paris fashion shows.
